Sadly, the entire original Chobani Non-Dairy line, made with coconut, has been discontinued. But, they’ve moved forward with their dairy-free oat-based line. You can still get Chobani Oat Yogurt Cups and Chobani Oat Yogurt Blends.
Despite releasing a new non-dairy line, Chobani is staunchly against using dairy terms like “milk” and “yogurt” on dairy-free products. This isn’t a debate that I would typically weigh in on, but Chobani has failed to address one major thing. If you don’t call it yogurt, what do you call it? They’ve simply slapped the name “Chobani Non-Dairy” on all of their dairy-free products, no matter what they are. I think we either need some new terms, or people will simply call Chobani Non-Dairy Cups, “yogurt,” whether they like it or not.
The Founder and CEO of Chobani, Hamdi Ulukaya, says the Non-Dairy Chobani “isn’t a replacement to dairy, but it’s a game-changer for plant-based products.” He then proceeds to call them “coconut purees.” Sorry Hamdi, but I don’t think “purees” is going to catch on. However, I do think many people will be very happy to purchase your non-dairy “not yogurt” in the yogurt aisle, and enjoy it just like they would yogurt (with granola for breakfast), for the same reason as yogurt (probiotics).

Chobani Non-Dairy Cups are Coconut-Based “Yogurt,” We Think
Like yogurt, Chobani Non-Dairy Cups are cultured, and they contain 6 types of live and active probiotics. They’re also creamy, spoonable, and perfect for enjoying with fresh fruit or other toppings. And they’re carrageenan-free, lower in sugars than most dairy versions, and sweetened solely with cane sugar. But they aren’t fortified, so they are lighter in protein and calcium than traditional dairy yogurt.
We’ve yet to sample each flavor, but leave your own rating and review to tell us what you think of them!

Amazing
PHENOMENAL!
Taste and texture
The only flavor I eat is the plain which is amazing. It’s my go to choice of “yogurt”. The fruit flavors are gritty and don’t taste very good.
Best non dairy yogurt I have tried
I’ve tried all non dairy yogurts and they all leave a gross chalky film in your mouth. This one is not like those other gross non dairy yogurts. Chobani is smooth in the mouth (not sticky gloppy like others) and tastes pretty much like the dairy yogurts if you ask me. I had given up on non dairy yogurts for years hoping someone would just make them better. Chobani did. I only wish it wasn’t so expensive so we could enjoy them more often instead of more like a treat once in a while.
slightly sweet- plain
I tried the slightly sweet plain and I actually think it’s pretty good but the consistency is weird. It’s kind of gelatin like, but the mouthfeel is ok. They are all filled with sugar though. I would like to see a lower sugar option or something with more protein.
Best non dairy yogurt I’ve tried!
I’m on the low Fodmap diet and prior to bring on this diet, I would eat a cup of yogurt daily. This yogurt tastes great and doesn’t leave me with those horrible aches/pains I would get with regular dairy and lactose free yogurts. Thanks Chobani!
Good and bad
Great flavor but it was very separated in opening and stirred up to a chunky mess. Like blueberry cottage cheese.
Terrible consistency.
Terrible consistency. When I started buying the peach it was delicious smooth and tasty. Not too long after finding this delicious product, the consistency changed to wet and lumpy. Terrible taste. Then I switched to strawberry. It was delicious but the same thing that happened to the peach also happened to the strawberry. They started selling watery lumpy yogurt. I wish they would fix this problem.
Slightly Sweet Plain
I picked this up from my local Sprouts with low expectations considering a majority of the non-dairy yogurts either have bad texture or too sweet or tastes like straight up protein powder. Well as soon as I tried it, I had to double check that it wasn’t dairy! It tasted SO good. It has a subtle tangy taste and does not taste overly artificial. I’m happy Chobani stepped up their game with these non-dairy products.
Chobani non dairy yogurt
I have tried the peach and strawberry they are absolutely delicious, you would never know it’s not dairy.
I'm so glad to have found these
I’m incredibly dairy allergic (despite people thinking that means lactose intolerance), but I love parfaits. These are perfect for making my own home parfaits. Either with or without granola, the nice tang of the lemon juice, the texture, and flavours are perfect. Vanilla is my favourite to add Quaker Oats Cranberry Dark Chocolate granola too with fresh blueberries on top.
I’m glad to have found something that works for me 🙂
