Chobani Oat Yogurt Cups Join the Dairy-Free Culture
Because oats are leaner than coconut, Chobani’s Oat Yogurt does contain more ingredients than their Non-Dairy Coconut Yogurt. Oats need a little more help to reach a creamy consistency. And take note that these are not coconut-free. Each flavor contains a little bit of coconut.
At our time of review, Chobani hadn’t listed the cultures in their Oat Yogurt Cups, but they might be the same as the ones in their Non-Dairy Coconut Yogurt. Those are l. acidophilus, l. bulgaricus, l. paracasei, s. thermophilus, bidus, and l. casei.

chemical taste
the flavor was off. I felt like I was eating chemical. It also looks unappealing, almost like boogers.
It was okay
I had an oatmilk yogurt from Silk brand for a while and then I couldn’t find them anymore. So I came across the Chobani version and was excited. I had the Strawberry Vanilla, and the taste was too tangy maybe. I don’t know, what I was but there’s something that’s not that good about it. Needs a little more work. The article mentioned a chemical like taste, and I agree with that.
Awful flavor!
Flavor of both vanilla and strawberry were so odd I checked the expire dates on lids. Rancid …burnt aftertaste…
Very strong chemical taste
I tried the Strawberry Vanilla flavor and it looked and smelled okay but it had a very strong chemical taste, like what I believe licking a rubber band would taste like. I spit it out and threw the rest away.
tastes ghastly
I love chobani vanilla oat drink and was really looking forward to trying their non-dairy “yogurt”. I am a very disgruntled dairy queen whose digestive system refuses to recognize dairy products as food these days, even tho my brain and taste buds love just about every thing dairy; also, nuts cause me to break out in painful bumps (hives)…so an oat product should allow me to relive those halcyon days when I could eat what i wanted and the drink w/ vanilla is fabulous…
BUT the oat yogurt, for which I paid a handsome $9.29, tastes just awful. I tried it on 2 different days, it tasted bad each time, and I flushed it down the toilet so I wouldn’t be reminded of how much $ I had wasted.
Can’t you, Chobani, just mix the drink w/ tapioca or some other thickener?
Looks gross and tastes worse
The vanilla had the color and texture of snot and the flavor is so terrible I literally had to spit it out. I love Chobani oat milk but this yogurt is one of the worst non-dairy yogurts I’ve tried.
Deliciosos y saludables
Super deliciosos. Todos.
Bad
Tastes like pure sugar in skim milk, not creamy or good in any way
Love it
I’ve only tried a few, but the Strawberry Vanilla and Blueberry Pomegranate are delicious. I can imagine people on a health based diet wouldn’t have the same opinion, but I’m not in it for health. Sugar is my favorite addiction. These remind me of my favorite yogurts as a kid, and honestly taste Exactly like dairy yogurt with a slightly thicker consistency than my usual non-dairy go-tos. flavors
Disgusting.
If i could leave a 0 star review, I would. I’m usually a huge fan of Chobani products, however, their oat yogurt made me gag upon trying it. I would not recommend at all.
