Coolhaus Dairy Free Ice Cream Packs 6 Uniquely Indulgent Pints

0

Coolhaus started as a mobile ice cream truck in 2009, but they’ve since expanded to packaged pints available in more than 6000 grocery stores. Their classic line is dairy-based, but they’ve just launched a full line of vegan frozen desserts. It includes a half a dozen pint flavors that Coolhaus CEO and co-founder Natasha Case thinks will innovate the dairy-free ice cream category.

We’re really excited to launch a dairy-free line that’s inclusive of plant-based diets without compromising on decadence. Our dairy-free experience will be just as rich and self-indulgent as our dairy line, and we can’t wait for vegan and dairy ice cream-lovers alike to taste it!

Coolhaus is known for inventive flavors, and we think they’ve delivered with this creative collection. Each flavor is made with a base of peas, brown rice, and cocoa butter, but they are definitely dessert-worthy. Be sure to leave a rating and review below if you try any of them!

Chocolate Sandwich Cookie Crumb

Chocolate on chocolate on chocolate seems to be a flavor theme lately, and this is Coolhaus’s take. The chocolaty ice cream base is augmented with chocolate cookie crumbs and a chocolaty swirl.

Additional Allergen Notes*

Like with most brands, I wouldn’t use their “may contain” statements for guidance when dealing with a severe or sensitive food allergy. It’s obvious that these flavors are also made in a facility that processes wheat and soy, even though it isn’t disclosed this way on any of the labels. We also have to assume that they are making Coolhaus Dairy Free Ice Cream in the same facility with their regular ice cream. But this isn’t disclosed on any of their labels. We will update if they respond with clarification.
