Coolhaus Ice Cream Cones Take a Dip into 3 Dairy-Free Flavors

By Alisa Fleming on December 21, 2021 Dairy-Free Ice Cream Novelty Reviews, Product Reviews

The other day, I told you about several changes happening at Coolhaus with updates to our posts on their dairy-free ice cream pints and ice cream sammies. But they have another product line that I’ve been meaning to share: Coolhaus dairy-free ice cream cones! These single-serve desserts were released this year, and come in three indulgent flavors: Cookies & Cream, Cookie Dough Lyfe, and Farmer’s Market Strawberry.

Coolhaus Dairy-Free Ice Cream Cones Reviews and Info - Indulgent flavors, frozen dessert novelties, vegan-friendly

Coolhaus Dairy-Free Ice Cream Cones Take a Dip into 3 Vegan Flavors

As mentioned in our other product posts, Coolhaus has been purchased by The Urgent Co., a subsidiary of Perfect Day. The new owners will be transitioning the entire product line to be “plant-based,” but that doesn’t mean dairy-free. The dairy-based flavors will move to Perfect Day’s genetically engineered dairy, which isn’t milk-free, but might have labels like “animal-free,” “vegan,” or “plant-based.” That range comes in many of the same flavors as the actual dairy-free line, so be sure to read the ingredients before purchasing to avoid grabbing the wrong one!

Tasty ice cream, mediocre chocolate, terrible cone

    Rated 2 out of 5
    May 23, 2022

The ice cream on its own tasted great. The cookie dough added some nice texture. The chocolate on top and at the bottom of the cone gad a freezer-burned taste, and the cone was soggy. Not a winner.
