When HumanCo took over Coconut Bliss, I was happy they decided to keep the dairy-free ice cream bars. In my opinion, that’s the brand’s best product line. But like their ice cream and cookie sandwiches, they have a new name, a new image, and a slightly different formula. Nevertheless, Cosmic Bliss Ice Cream Bars are still available in their three most popular flavors.
Cosmic Bliss Ice Cream Bars are Out of this Dairy-Free World
Like so many foods, these bars were downsized just a wee bit, and lightened up. They’re also now sweetened with coconut syrup instead of agave. Once you get the chance to buy and try them, be sure to leave your unbiased review below!

Cosmic Bliss chocolate daydream (plant based)
I enjoy the taste for the most part, what I’m unhappy about is how it makes me feel afterwards; along with a list of friends and even strangers at local markets that make comments about the added guar gum in most of the ice cream you find on the market.
Ice cream, or non dairy ice cream, doesn’t need guar-gum to make it taste good, there are many ways to make it creamy and it’s not that complicated. I’ve found myself not buying as much ice cream these days because so many companies all across the board are adding guar-gum, or some other kind of unnecessary gum to their products.
Ice cream should taste good but not give you a stomach ache afterwards.
Please consider using something else that’s healthy but not so gummy!
