Country Crock Plant Butter Sticks are Dairy-Free Baking & Cooking Staples

    0
By Alisa Fleming on May 16, 2019 Dairy-Free Butter Reviews (Spreads, Sticks & Oils), Product Reviews

Updated August 2023! From sauteing to baking, Country Crock Plant Butter Sticks promise to be your dairy-free hero. This modern day margarine is made with a soy-free blend of non-hydrogenated vegetable oils, making it similar to other vegan “buttery sticks” on the market. But you might like it better. Leave your own rating and review below if you try it!

Country Crock Plant Butter Sticks Review - Dairy-free, Soy-free and sold in 3 varieties

Country Crock Plant Butter Sticks are Affordable Dairy-Free Staples

The three formulas are almost identical, but one is made with almond oil, one with avocado oil, and one with olive oil. I would expect them to perform exactly the same (those oils don’t make up the bulk of the spreads), but they probably have slightly different flavor profiles.

If pea protein is a problem for you (some with peanut allergies have cross-reactivity), then you might want to consider Country Crock Plant Butter Tubs instead. They contain faba bean protein, but not pea protein. If you are confused by “may contain soy” labels, read this post: What are “May Contain” statements?

    Amazing plant butter

I bought the avocado oil sticks. The taste is fantastic. I had to stop butter because of cholesterol and these plant based butters have no cholesterol. Tonight I am fixing candied yams and putting lots of this plant butter on. I highly recommend this product!

Can’t tell difference between this and butter. Never thought I’d say that.

It’s still margarine. Changing the name didn’t make it taste any better.
