Activia Almondmilk Yogurt Gives Dairy-Free a Stir with Less Sugar (DISCONTINUED)

Danone, the parent company of Activia, has confirmed the discontinuation of Activia Almondmilk Yogurt. If you’re looking for a new almondmilk yogurt option, look for brands like Kite Hill, DAH!, Almond Breeze, and Silk.

Two weeks ago, Pedro Silveira, the president of yogurt for Danone North America, casually announced that Activia would be bullish with new products, including lower sugar options and a dairy-free line. At the time of that press release, we didn’t realize they would be charging ahead so quickly! Activia Almondmilk Yogurt is already popping up on grocery shelves, and it’s reportedly a thick and creamy option.

Activia Almondmilk Yogurt Reviews and Information! Dairy-Free, Vegan, and Lower in Sugar. We have ingredients, ratings, and more.

Activia Almondmilk Yogurt Gives Dairy-Free a Stir with Less Sugar

Unlike competitors, Activia’s dairy-free line doesn’t contain alternative sweeteners. It’s made with cane sugar for a pure taste, just less of it. By our estimates, their fruity flavors contain roughly half the sugars of similar yogurts. They don’t have an Unsweetened or Plain falvor out yet, but we imagine they are on the horizon for even lower sugar demands.

    I love Activia!

    Rated 5 out of 5
    October 6, 2022

I have been eating two Activia’s everyday since it was introduced many years ago. Now my cardiologist is recommending I change over to a completely plant based diet, of course my main concern is how will I replace my Activia? Now, as I research, there’s been a plant based Activia and its being discontinued before I’ve even had a chance to find it in the greater Madison WI area, where I live. This is so sad, I will always attribute Activia for helping me regain regualrity and will continue to tell others of this benefit. I purchase 2 12packs every week, if this plant based Activia became available in Madison WI, I’d buy it!

    Thanks for listening

Taste & texture:smooth & creamy! Taste: love the unique flavors! My favorite with great taste, probiotics, and much more protein than other brands. Only problem is that its hard to find sometimes.

I’ve only tried the blueberry (the only flavor available where I live), but not only is it the best dairy-free yogurt I’ve ever tasted, but it’s been GREAT for my stomach!

    Yucky.

I’ve been purchasing your regular yogurt for my husband (for years) which he enjoys a great deal. So with me being lactose sensitive I thought I would give your new dairy-free yogurt a try and have to say it’s awful. I tried the peach hibiscus flavor and was so disappointed. It was all separated in the container, watery, awful color, nasty sour taste just yucky.

When I was vegetarian Activia was my absolute favorite! Since becoming Vegan, I have tried other yogurt alternatives and nothing ever satisfied my yogurt need. When I saw this in my small town grocery store, I freaked!!! They are delicious and I cant get enough!!

    Thank you Activia!!

Since I cannot eat Dannon Coffee yogurt any longer, how about Activia Dairy Free Coffee flavored? I would definitely buy it.

I was excited to try this but honestly I couldn’t even finish one container of the vanilla cinnamon one. It’s overly sweet and doesn’t taste like yogurt at all (then again, I guess it’s “probiotic delight”, not yogurt lol). Weird taste, weird after taste, and again, way too sweet for my liking– I had to eat it with a side of plain cheerios to balance out the sugar! I’ll be sticking to Silk almond or coconut based yogurts or Chobani’s non dairy.

No aftertaste and low sugar (compared to other flavored yogurts). Found this at Target on sale for $1.25 and I will definitely be buying more!
