Daiya Frozen Dessert Bars Are Dipped in Allergy-Friendly Satisfaction

My first taste of Daiya Frozen Dessert Bars was actually at a trade show, and it was quite an experience. The bars hadn’t yet gone to production, so their staff hand dipped every bar in chocolate the night before. We tried the Classic Vanilla Bean, and it exceeded expectations. It was definitely coconut, but the vanilla shined through, and it was a true dessert experience.

These dairy-free, allergy-friendly ice cream bars are now in full production, with four flavors to choose from. And we have every lick of the details in this post!

Daiya Frozen Dessert Bars Review - ratings, ingredients and more info on these dairy-free, nut-free, soy-free, vegan ice cream bars dipped in chocolate

Daiya Frozen Dessert Bars Are Dipped in Allergy-Friendly Satisfaction

There’s no “living without” when you taste these indulgent treats. Each variety is made with creamy coconut ice cream enrobed in dairy-free chocolate, but they each have their own nuances. We’ve got details, ingredients, and more information listed here, and you can leave your own rating and review below if you’ve tried them. It helps others make an informed dairy-free purchasing decision!

    Classic Vanilla Bean

This baseline flavor of Daiya Frozen Dessert Bars is coconutty, but with a sweet vanilla influence. The dark chocolate coating is gently contrasted with a semi-sweet chocolate drizzle.

Daiya Frozen Dessert Bars Review - ratings, ingredients and more info on these dairy-free, nut-free, soy-free, vegan ice cream bars dipped in chocolateIngredients: non-dairy frozen dessert (water, coconut cream, cane sugar, tapioca syrup, coconut oil, cocoa butter*, fava bean protein, acacia gum, vanilla extract, tamarind seed gum, sea salt, locust bean gum, vanilla bean seeds), coating (dark chocolate* [unsweetened chocolate, cane sugar, cocoa butter, vanilla extract], coconut oil).  Contains: coconut.*

    Chocolate Fudge Crunch

If you like chocolate on chocolate on chocolate, then this should be your first choice. The chocolate coconut ice cream has a fudgy swirl, and it’s dipped in dark chocolate spiked with crunchy roasted pumpkin seeds.

    Salted Caramel Swirl

This flavor is like the Classic Vanilla, but with a little more oomph. The vanilla dairy-free ice cream is swirled vegan salted caramel. And it’s dipped in semi-sweet chocolate with a dark chocolate drizzle.

I tried a daiya vanilla bar and they are excellent. I purchased it at our Cash Wise store. I better buy several boxes at a time because the shelf is too often empty. I haven’t checked Target because I hardly ever go there but I will just to check if they carry the bar in their stock.

I am always looking for a little treats for my daughter. She is on the spectrum and is on a special diet and cannot have dairy or soy. It is incredibly hard to find substitutes for her that taste good. This bar is so good that the rest of the family wants in on them. It’s so creamy and it’s the perfect size! We sure do love Daiya in this family. My daughter doesn’t feel lift out anymore, which means so much to this momma

The right balance of creamy, sweetness, texture (smooth and creamy). Would love one dipped in white chocolate instead of dark chocolate.

And here I thought I was going to have to give up ice cream, now that can no longer tolerate casein. These little guys are amazing, I can’t get enough! They look small, but the size is perfect. Never had ice cream bars that tasted this good and weren’t made from regular milk. Dove who?
