We were sad to see the Creamy Raspberry and Creamy Orange varieties go - they were twisted sherbet bliss in our opinions. The Fudge Bar fills a niche for a naturally light and dairy-free fudgesicle, but is just too intensely cocoa for our tasters.

The first So Delicious treats to really hit on the need for dairy-free indulgence-on-a-stick were their Creamy Organic Soymilk Ice Cream Bars. Alas, the delicious Creamy Raspberry and Creamy Orange with their twisted sherbet goodness were discontinued. Fortunately, the Creamy Fudge Bar remains and even has a new look and more certifications!

So Delicious Dairy Free Organic Soymilk Ice Cream Bars - Creamy Fudge Bars

Though the coconut milk-based and almond milk-based ice cream bars from So Delicious come in a “Mini” format, the lower fat contents of the organic soymilk ice cream bars allows them to make the Fudge Bar full-sized! At just 90 calories and 2 grams of fat per bar, it is practically a guilt-free dessert.

But alas, while I have yet to find a So Delicious product that I don’t like, the Creamy Fudge Bar didn’t dazzle as I had hoped. These organic soymilk ice cream bars were quite creamy, but just a bit too cocoa for me. I had hoped for a lighter, milkier taste, but the Fudge Bars were a bit more like hard packed ice cream in nature, heavier and less refreshing than the retired fruity varieties. Nonetheless, chocoholics with a passion for all things cocoa will likely adore these soymilk ice cream bars.

Certifications: The Organic Soymilk Ice Cream Bars are certified organic, gluten-free, kosher parve, and vegan, and are non-GMO verified.

Dietary Notes: By ingredients, the Organic Soymilk Ice Cream Bars are dairy-free / non-dairy, egg-free, gluten-free, nut-free, peanut-free, vegan, and vegetarian. Nonetheless, check the ingredient statement prior to consumption and check with the company on their manufacturing processes for all varieties if potential allergen cross-contamination is an issue for you. Processes and labeling are subject to change at any time for any company / product.
