You might see some pictures of this product in bowls, but Flax4Life Flax Snacking Granola was created for eating out of hand. It’s clumped into rather sizable clusters that are somewhat soft and chewy. It’s very much like a “bar” meets granola experience.
Flax4Life Flax Snacking Granola has Big Gluten-Free, Nut-Free Clusters
The taste is a bit treat-like, but each serving of Flax4Life Flax Snacking Granola contains about 2300 to 2600mg of Omega 3s, and around 32mg of lignans. You’ll also get a good little dose of fiber and protein – around 5 grams of each per half cup.
I tried the Cranberrry Orange variety. It contained generous amounts of orange zest and the perfect amount of dried cranberries for complementary flavor. It was sweet, but actually low sodium. But there are other flavors – five at last count. We have full details on each, and you can leave your own unbiased rating and review below if you’ve bought and tried any of them!

Surprisingly Terrible!
I bought this because I love Flax 4 Life Frozen Muffins but this so called granola is bad. It’s not edible. It sounds like a good idea and it is but it tastes very stale. It would be nice after spending almost $7.00 for a bag to find a nice chewy granola but it’s very dry on the outside, not crunchy but stale bread dry. I would love to have my money back!
Yuck!
It doesn’t matter how healthy the granola is if you can’t choke it down! I’m trying to figure out a way to “fix” it so I don’t have to throw it away!
Love the concept of this flax granola
I loved the big, soft, and chewy clusters – they are so unique and much easier on the teeth for snacking than regular granola. My only qualm is that it is a little sweet. I’d like it if they upped the salt just a little – the flavor is a little flavor – and reduced the sweetener a little. I think that would boost the flavor to perfection.
