It’s the little things that you don’t always think about until you actually have a food restriction. Milk and cheese are the first things that come to mind when people talk about a milk allergy, but it’s actually harder to find things like safe sauces and seasonings. Milk powders are a common ingredient in many dressing mixes, and even in other types of spice blends. Fortunately, Farrell Ranch Mixes & Seasonings are made purely with herbs and spices, and are manufactured on a dairy-free, egg-free, soy-free, nut-free line.
Farrell Ranch Mixes & Seasonings are Made for Dairy-Free Needs
Ashleigh, who was born with a dairy allergy, and her dad co-founded Farrell Specialty Foods in their home state of Michigan. Over the years, Ashleigh’s family created homemade seasonings to keep her safe. As it turned out, those mixes were better than the ones with dairy, so they decided to bottle and sell them!
Note that the servings size for each mix is rather large, but the bottles are also rather sizable. One serving of the Ranch Mix is enough for a full batch of ranch dressing, and each shaker has 8 servings.

Very good
We love all three of the Farrell seasonings. The taco seasoning is a new staple in our house. We have tacos every Tuesday and one container lasted us a couple of months. It’s so flavorful and good bang for your buck. The ranch and spicy ranch are both great as well. You can mix them with the mayo and lemon juice to make a great dip, or thin them out a little for salad dressing. The flavor is spot on. One container makes around 40 servings!
Good flavor
We tried the regular Ranch and found it quite handy! Not only did I use it to make dressing, but it was also great seasoning for roasted potatoes and simple pasta. We do use quite a bit of it at once though, and you have to add your own salt – which helps the flavors pop more.
