free2b Snack Breaks: Allergy-Friendly Snacking Chocolate (DISCONTINUED)

Unfortunately, free2b Snack Breaks were discontinued. Another great dairy-free option is Taza Dark Bark. Taza is a dairy-free chocolatier, and their chocolate is soy-free, but they do use nuts. Another option is to make your own bark by melting down dairy-free chocolate chips and sprinkling with your favorite add-ins.

I think free2b Snack Breaks were made specifically for me and Tony. We are definitely chocolate grazers. And these thin but generous slabs of chocolate bark allow you to break off whatever size fits your craving.

free2b Snack Breaks are more of a treat than a snack, but that doesn’t take away from their many virtues. Each sweet bite is made with fair trade cacao in a Top 12 Allergen-Free facility. They’re free of dairy, eggs, gluten, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, fish, shellfish, corn, coconut, mustard, and sesame! I think this premium snacking chocolate definitely qualifies as a “school safe” treat.

Tasting Notes for free2b Snack Breaks

Peppermint Dark Chocolate – The deep dark chocolate bark is contrasted with ample crunchy bits of peppermint candies for a very dessert-like experience.

Cranberry Pumpkin Seed Dark Chocolate – This is the most “snack-like” of the bunch, because it has a slight trail mix vibe from the crunchy seeds and chewy cranberries. But the dark chocolate is definitely the star of the show with the add-ins performing like a smattering of back up singers.

Blueberry Crunch – If you miss Nestle Crunch bars, then this could be the treat for you. The sweet dairy-free milk chocolate is spiked with a full layer of rice crispies. But a handful of dried blueberries is tossed into each batch for an occasional reminder that these aren’t your mother’s candy bars.

    Premium snacking chocolate

    Rated 5 out of 5
    March 6, 2019

This premium snacking chocolate is big slabs of thin chocolate bark spiked with tasty add-ins. Each bite is made with fair trade cacao in a Top 12 allergen free facility. But the free-from nature doesn’t affect the decadence of this treat. The Blueberry hits the spot for candy bar cravings, the Peppermint is perfect for mint dark chocolate bar fans, and the Cranberry Pumpkin Seed is just a touch closer to a true snack experience.

These look yummy! I avoid dark chocolate because of migraines, but I’m sure my hubby would love them!

      • Alisa Fleming on May 12, 2017 8:04 pm

Oh, that’s a bummer Amanda. Luckily there are a lot of great non-chocolate treats, too 🙂

I grew up being a Nestle Crunch fan and you’re so right, the blueberry crunch reminds me of it. Can’t wait to open up the other flavors.

      • Alisa Fleming on May 12, 2017 8:05 pm

I think you’ll love them Nicole. You may have to share some with that successful new grad though 🙂

The peppermint dark chocolate might be my favorite. I could eat it any day, all day, every day 😉
