Good Planet Cream Cheese Alternative is Spreading to Stores Nationwide (DISCONTINUED)

By Alisa Fleming on March 4, 2020 Discontinued Products, Product Reviews

Sadly, Good Planet Cream Cheese Alternative was a short-lived product. Hopefully it returns! For now, you can still get dairy-free cream cheese from brands like Violife, Follow Your Heart, Kite Hill, Daiya, and more.

Just as their dairy-free cheese slices and shreds are gaining widespread distribution, Good Planet has released yet another new product. Good Planet Cream Cheese alternative is rolling out to grocers and David Israel, CEO of Good Planet Foods, feels very confident in the flavor and texture of this new substitute.

The new [dairy-free] Cream Cheese spreads wonderfully on your favorite bagel and is great in countless recipes, like cheesecake, where a person wants the traditional cream cheese flavor and texture but without the dairy.

Good Planet Plant-Based Cream Cheese is a Dairy-Free, Soy-Free Alternative

Good Planet Cream Cheese Alternative is More than a Plant-Based Spread

This is one of the few cream cheese alternatives that is also top allergen-free. It’s made without dairy, eggs, gluten, peanuts, tree nuts, and soy. For richness, they use coconut oil. According to the company, it’s a refined oil, so you don’t need to worry about a coconut flavor.

If you’ve tried this dairy-free cream cheese, let us know how what you think. Leave your own rating and review below. It helps others make an informed purchasing decision.

Original (Ingredients and Nutrition below need update)

Good Planet states that their products are free from “cereals with gluten, milk and lactose, eggs, soybeans, fish, peanuts, nuts, crustaceans, celery, mustard, sesame seeds and there derivatives.” Please note that lactose is a component of milk. If it is milk-free, then it is lactose-free by default. And I would still contact them to discuss their allergen safety if you are dealing with a severe food allergy.
