Danone, the producer of Good Plants Dairy-Free Almondmilk Yogurt, has confirmed the discontinuation of this product line. They stated, “sales were not strong enough across the nation to warrant keeping it on the market in the light of other business activities.” For other options, see our Dairy-Free Yogurt Reviews. Other almond milk yogurts specifically include Activia, Almond Breeze, AYO, Kite Hill, and Silk.
Last year, Danone launched Good Plants Dairy-Free Almondmilk Yogurt under their sizable Light & Fit brand to meet the need for plant-based, low sugar, low calorie yogurt. It’s a functional line that’s also boosted with fiber and protein, but promises a creamy finish.
Good Plants Dairy-Free Almondmilk Yogurt is also a Low-Sugar Alternative
Good Plants is sweetened with just a bit of cane sugar and stevia, which might cause some “off” notes in the flavor. But you be the judge! If you’ve tried this product, leave your rating and review below. We will do the same once we can find it in our local area.

Allergen Note*
There is no disclaimer for dairy on the Good Plants label, but it appears to be certified kosher-dairy, which typically means dairy equipment. So I would discuss allergen protocols with the company if dealing with a severe milk allergy.
Danone is currently building a vegan yogurt plant, so it’s possible that the Good Plants Dairy-Free Almondmilk Yogurt production will transition to that dedicated facility once complete.

Excellent
I think the taste is great! love the Chocolate Coconut and Vanilla thus far. I will be buying more for sure. Love them!
The Flavor is Horrible
I can’t put my finger on it but there is an awful taste to them. I tried the coconut yesterday and, although it didn’t taste like coconut at all, I managed to finish the 5 oz cup. I just opened the lemon meringue and have taken 3 bites. I cant finish it. It does not taste like lemon at all.
plant based yogurt
If you are looking for a traditional tasting yogurt, you might be a little disappointed. I tried the lemon meringue flavor and did not think it had much of a lemon flavor but more vanilla. The texture is thinner than a traditional yogurt. Overall, better tasting than a lot of other dairy free yogurts and a plus for low calories.
terrible
the grossest tasting dairy alternative yet
Yuck
This really doesn’t taste good I don’t know if it’s the stevia but I tried strawberry and vanilla I hated the taste. I’ve had dairy free yogurt and I prefer that because I don’t like milk. This one is a no for me.
Delicious
I tried my first vanilla yogurt today. It was so delicious I had to see if it was “bad” for you. That’s how I stumbled upon this review. By checking it’s ingredients etc. I will absolutely buy this again and try the other flavors. It doesn’t seem to have any artificial anything in it and it’s GMO free.
Bittersweet
I LOVE the taste of these and the fact I can have yogurt without having dairy. My only issue is our of the 7 I’ve bought, 3 were on the watery side, 2 had the consistency of more Greek style yogurt and 2 were watery with a grainy oatmeal texture.. not sure what the reasoning behind that is.. (bought 3 one week and 4 the following)
Stevia Taste
I was really curious about this almond yoghurt, especially because it was considerably cheaper than other brands. But first spoon – uughhh, artificial sweetener. Couldn’t believe it. No mention of it on the package other than in the ingredients fine print. Would never have bought this if I had known, and surely won’t do it again.
Delicious and good for you!
All flavors good. Good taste, good texture. Sweetener is just enough, and natural. Highly recommend.
Lemon meringue flavor tastes like bathroom cleaner
I found this Good Plants Lemon Meringue flavored yogurt. The yogurt texture is very watery. The stevia leaf leaves a strange flavor in addition to that unpleasant taste from the lemon concentrate. It seriously tastes the way a lemon scented bathroom cleaner smells. I would not buy this again. Maybe the other flavors might be better at both tasting better and masking the stevia aftertaste.
