Goodpop Makes a Cool Selection of Dairy-Free Frozen Pops

0

Some of their original frozen pops contain dairy, but in recent years, Goodpop has been shifting their new flavors to dairy-free – even the creamy ones!

And the “good” in their name has significant meaning. It stands not only for good taste, but good (we think great!) ingredients, and a do-good policy. They partner with non-profits, both in their local Austin area and nationally, and support certifications for social and environmental responsibility.

Goodpop Makes a Cool Selection of Dairy-Free Frozen Pops

Aside from the flavor variations, they all look pretty darn similar. But each Goodpop variety has its own unique quality.

Chocolate Fudge (New!)

Their first foray into dairy-free fudgesicles exceeds healthy expectations with organic and fair trade certifications, simple ingredients and coconut sugar for sweetening. This treat is not only vegan, but also paleo-friendly.

Red, White & Blue (Cherry + Lemonade)

These patriotic pops aren’t seasonal, so you can enjoy them year round. They’re also sweetened solely with fruit juices and the colors are all natural – the blue is from spirulina – brilliant!

Cookies N’ Cream

Like the Fudge variety, this Goodpop flavor is certified organic and fair trade. But it’s a little more indulgent with gluten-free chocolate cookies and organic cane sugar for sweetness.

Vegan and gluten-free with paleo options.Ingredients: organic coconut cream, filtered water, fair trade certified organic cane sugar, organic chocolate cookies (gluten free flour blend [organic corn flour, organic cane sugar, organic palm oil, organic arrowroot flour, fair trade certified organic cocoa powder processed with alkali, xanthan gum], sea salt, organic soy lecithin), fair trade certified vanilla extract, natural flavors, organic guar gum, sea salt. Contains: coconut, soy.*

Orange N’ Cream

Just like the classic but with coconut cream ice cream on the inside and a much cleaner ingredient list. Yes, that says carrot juice!

Watermelon Agave

It’s like a frozen virgin margarita! But despite the name, this flavor is sweetened with both agave nectar and cane sugar.

Coconut Lime

This flavor is actually sweetened solely with organic agave nectar and it features one of my favorite flavor combinations. Organic coconut flakes add texture to this creamy pop, but you can also roll them in crushed graham cracker crumbs or cookies for a key lime pie vibe.

I believe this is the only one I can eat. It is reminiscent of my childhood creamscicle. Very Good.
