Hope Foods has quickly gained natural food fame as an innovator in hummus flavors. Now they’re branching out from the bean with a nutty new product line. Hope Cashew & Almond Dips are “better-for-you” options that are made with organic, wholesome ingredients and come in bold flavors.
Like their hummus, Hope Cashew & Almond Dips are made in small batches and are cold-pressed to preserve taste, freshness, and nutrients. They’re reportedly quite creamy, and were created to pair with chips, pretzels, and veggies, or to spread on sandwiches, wraps, and bagels.
Hope Cashew & Almond Dips Arrive in Six Desirable Dairy-Free Flavors
We expected this to be an entirely savory collection, but Hope Foods couldn’t resist sneaking one sweet, chocolaty flavor into the mix. Each flavor comes in two tub sizes, one for everyday households, and one for parties.

Not bad
I have recently gone dairy free due to my son’s cow’s milk protein intolerance. I’ve been making a lot of frittatas for breakfast to eat all week, but I definitely miss cheese. Does anyone know if these spreads (like French Onion for example) would hold up if mixed into a frittata and baked? Or folded into an omelet? I’m just not familiar with almond/cashew type spreads to know if they would get weird when heated. I did put some French onion spread on a baked potato and it was not bad.
Response from Go Dairy Free
They should hold up well.
Flavor is great, but the packaging is horrible.
Tried the Cashew/Almond/Garlic. There was so much oil in it that you couldn’t open it without getting it all over everything and forget about trying to stir it in the package. Flavor was good but what a mess.
Does Not Sacrifice on Taste
This dip is great! I was a little leary because I’ve had my share of substitute foods and they usually add stevia or something that makes it taste unappealing. It did taste strange on the first bite, but after I stirred the dip it is great. It doesn’t hold back on flavor, doesn’t feel heavy, and doesn’t leave a weird aftertaste. Really an enjoyable product! Definitely on par with regular french onion dip, but not so heavy feeling. So happy I can finally eat dip other than hummus.
Hope For Seconds!
While I’ve only had the French Onion dip so far, it’s SO good that I would be shocked if the other flavors weren’t equally tasty. It’s a blend that you genuinely would never know is made of nuts, since it’s perfectly smooth and creamy, and has zero roasted flavor to hint of the base. Rather, it’s all toasted onions here, like the topping on a bagel or the straight French onion soup mix you might use in old-school recipes. One complaint thought: This package is clearly a single serving. I need twice as much if there’s any chance of sharing!
