Whether you need nourishment on the go or a dietary supplement, Kate Farms Nutrition Shakes have a lot to offer. They’re dairy-free, gluten-free, and soy-free, but well-balanced with plant-based protein, medium chain triglycerides (MCT), Omega 3 fatty acids, and fiber. Each ready-to-drink beverage is also stocked with key electrolytes and fortified with 24 vitamins and minerals, yet free from chemicals and additives.

Kate Farms Nutrition Shakes are the next generation of their Komplete Meal Replacement Shakes. They have the same great taste and nutrition, but are now certified organic, and have a new name and image.

Kate Farms Nutrition Shakes Reviews & Info - dairy-free, gluten-free, top allergen-free, and vegan meal replacement shakes. Well balanced with nutrients, vitamins, and minerals.

Kate Farms Nutrition Shakes Fit Most Meal Replacement Needs

Kate Farms’ founders, Michelle and Richard Laver, are the parents of four children, including their daughter, Kate, who was born with cerebral palsy. Her parents wanted to give her a healthier, dairy-free option to the meal replacement shakes recommended by her doctor.

We developed our own meal replacement shake in the Laver kitchen one night with the help of a dear friend. We left out the sugar and dairy products and replaced them with all-natural vegan ingredients, creating the world’s first dairy-free, gluten-free and soy-free ready to drink meal replacement shake! As a result, Kate Farms was born.

Over the years, Kate Farms Komplete Meal Replacement Shakes have evolved with the latest scientific findings and formulas. And, as mentioned above, they’re now organic and called Kate Farms Nutrition Shakes. But they continue to be plant-based and allergy-friendly, and are frequently recommended by physicians and dietitians.

We tried these when they were made with brown rice protein, and quite liked the flavors – especial the vanilla. They were a little gritty in consistency. To resolve this, they switched to a pea protein formula. We’ve been told it has a more mainstream taste now.

Can you put these in a feeding tube or do you have product for feeding tubes? No dairy, gluten free, corn oils free, soy free, and thinner than average drink. High calorie, low fat, and high protein. Looking and need all of the mentioned.

      Thank you!

      • Alisa Fleming on August 3, 2017 2:26 pm

Hi Trina, you’d need to contact them directly with these types of questions -> https://katefarms.com/ – Go Dairy Free is an informational website, we aren’t affiliated with them.

If you go to their website, they offer medical formula. I don’t know the specifics of what exactly you need but I know they offer some options.

This product is VERY high in sugar, sadly. Agave syrup is the third or fourth ingredient. 🙁

HI Alisa, It’s been a couple years since you reviewed the Kcomplete meal replacement. I’m wanting to know if you have any new recommendations. I’m looking for organic high protein low carb low sugar and low fat. Preferably to be yummy tasting. In an earlier reply you had suggested a product from the Uk called Novadetox. Do you still suggest that or have you come across something better? I’m wanting the drink to be more of a snack for mid afternoon before dinner, to stave away from eating a bag of chips. Any suggestions?/

      • Alisa Fleming on May 5, 2015 7:23 pm

Hi Cristin, I just recently did a post on this – http://www.godairyfree.org/news/dairy-free-meal-replacement-shakes

    6. Kelly Hill on July 6, 2014 11:57 pm

I’m in Australia [Brisbane] – where can I order / buy this from?

      • Alisa Fleming on July 7, 2014 2:40 pm

I don’t believe they ship internationally yet Kelly, but you can click through to their website, they may provide international shipping.

        • Phillippa on July 27, 2015 11:53 pm

          Hi Kelly

This might be a bit late to reply. We are now sole distributors and logistical management of Kate Farms Komplete in Australia and NZ. Please contact me on 02 8707 3609 or Phillippa@devirra.com whilst we get our Australian website up and running!

          Thanks

    7. Dr Joe on June 26, 2014 1:18 pm

Finally a protein drink I can recommend. There are so many individuals suffering from metabolic syndrome and most if not all other drinks make if worse. Additionally Komplete is very low in sodium and potassium comparatively. I can recommend this in so many cases; kidney, liver, thyroid, malabsorption, fibro, etc.

    8. Lee on May 31, 2014 1:59 pm

Hi Carol you may want to check this product I tink its kind of in the ball park of what you are looking for http://www.novadetox.co.uk/acatalog/high-protein-meal-replacement-drink.html

    9. Carol Hall on April 3, 2014 6:45 pm

I am looking for a shake that has a least 20g of protein, less than 15g of carbs, and less than 7g fat. Must be milk, gluten, and egg free.

    10. Sioux on February 17, 2014 3:05 pm

Love these shakes! Usually I’m hungry 1hr after having some of these other shakes and I’m lactose intolerant so whey protein is out of the question. I have one of these for lunch and I am good to go no sugar crashes or feeling ravenous an hour later very satisfying and I’m getting complete nutrition. I love love love them!

      • Alisa Fleming on February 20, 2014 3:04 pm

Thanks for sharing your review Sioux!

    11. Sholom on June 13, 2013 11:44 am

Komplete Ultimate Shakes are the best product of its kind I’ve come across. However, there are a couple downsides to these drinks. Lots of sugar and high price. The sugar is allegedly sourced from agave but the jury s out on whether that is any better than, say, cane sugar. The price is way up there. It retails for $4.69 where I am.

    12. Jason (Gluten Free / Dairy Free NJ) on June 10, 2013 10:18 am

I’ve been struggling to keep my weight up after a recent silent acid reflux diagnosis. My doctor wants me eating six low-fat meals per day. These will make a great quick and easy replacement for one of those meals!

[p.s. I never miss breakfast, currently, it’s a 96% fat free hamburger each morning!]

    13. Haas Wells on May 22, 2013 9:55 am
