Updated May 2023! A few years ago, Mikey’s Pizza Pockets launched as a paleo alternative to Hot Pockets. They were made with a grain-free crust and filled with dairy-free and gluten-free ingredients, that included meat and eggs. But last year, they did a complete overhaul on their formula. Their entire pockets line is now vegan, gluten-free, and allergy-friendly, but they are no longer paleo. We’ve updated our post to reflect the new ingredients and information.
Mikey’s Pizza Pockets are Stuffed with Dairy-Free Ingredients
They were initially released in three flavors, but now Mikey’s Pockets include various pizza-inspired and breakfast options. We have the full details on Mikey’s Pizza Pockets below, followed by a list of their other pocket varieties.

soggy outside
The taste on the inside is generally good, but the soggy texture on the outside is just terrible. Something needs to be figured out with the microwave cooking method or there is no point to these
They’re pretty good
The plant based cheese tasted like, well not cheese. The texture is a bit gritty and it tastes manufactured. Overall they’re pretty decent. The ham and cheese is ok but the buffalo chicken is pretty good. They don’t have a crisping sleeve so they are a tad soft and soggy.
Absolutely Delicious
I love this! I even gave it to my husband who is not someone who usually likes dairy-free products, and he loved it and said it tasted better than a Hot Pocket. So glad I can eat these!
Yummy
Oh so good. Best dairy free cheese I have tasted. So nice to have pocket pizza for lunch.
