Miyoko’s Plant Milk Cheese Sticks are a Better Kind of Cheddar (DISCONTINUED)

By Alisa Fleming on May 7, 2021 Discontinued Products, Product Reviews

After a detour into more mainstream products, Miyoko decided to go back to their artisan roots. So Miyoko’s Plant Milk Cheese Sticks have been discontinued. But they are still making their revolutionary Liquid Mozzarella, popular Vegan Mozz, classic Cheese Wheels, basic Cream Cheese Spreads, and unique Roadhouse Cheese Spreads.

Miyoko has done it again. She has formulated yet another cheesy, plant-based product, and this one is perfect for snack time. Miyoko’s Plant Milk Cheese Sticks are “kinder to kids, cows and the planet,” which is definitely reflected in the very cute packaging and the allergy-friendly ingredients.

Miyoko’s Plant Milk Cheese Sticks are a Better Kind of Cheddar

These dairy-free cheese sticks fall under the newer collection of Miyoko’s vegan cheese, and bear some similarities. But the cheese sticks do have their own unique recipe, complete with many modern ingredient twists, like pineapple, green tea, and hemp seed butter! Be sure to leave your review and rating below once you’ve bought and tried this product.

I wanted to like these, but they just taste bad. I’m okay with plant based products not tasting like cheese, however I do expect them to be palatable. Very disappointed

I have been vegan for just over 8 years and found these at Whole Foods yesterday. I am so in love with them and almost ate the entire pack. I do really think that these taste like cheddar cheese and are rich in flavor. The ingredients are mostly natural and I enjoy them so much! I highly recommend these. As for the other comment below, I would agree that the consistency is different and I do not know how to explain it, but it didn’t bother me one bit. I recommend them and think they are worth paying the $5 for. Its a tasty, low cal, low fat treat!

I love Miyokos products and have been eating plant based for some time. I guess I was expecting something a little similar to other vegan cheeses. This was definitely different. It just didn’t taste good at all.
