Nadamoo No Sugar Added is Low Carb in Four Classic Vegan Flavors

Over the years, they’ve churned out dozens of decadent flavors. But Nadamoo is taking a detour from indulgence with their new low carb and keto-friendly line. Nadamoo No Sugar Added dairy-free ice cream is made with the brand’s signature based, but it’s sweetened with a low-glycemic blend of allulose, erythritol and stevia extract. The result is generous servings with just 2 grams of total sugars and 10 to 13 grams of net carbohydrates.

Delicious flavor and creamy texture, but WATCH OUT for allulose digestive symptoms

    Rated 3.0 out of 5
    August 6, 2021

On first impression, all 4 No Sugar NadaMoo flavors were excellent: simple but delicious flavors without any discernible aftertaste and a smooth, creamy texture (when allowed to soften before scooping). However, the addition of allulose to the sweetener blend proved pretty disastrous–it’s known to cause digestive problems for many people, and after consuming half a pint I was in pretty intense discomfort for 12 hours. Interestingly, the pint of Mint Chip I purchased does not list allulose as an ingredient; however, this might be a mistake, as allulose is mentioned as an ingredient on NadaMoo’s website. Ice cream lovers, proceed with caution! If you’ve reacted poorly to allulose in the past, I’d avoid the No Sugar line.
