Last Update in August 2021! In late 2017, Coffee Mate made their first foray into dairy-free creamers with a full line of Natural Bliss Non-Dairy Creamers. They originally launched in two almond milk creamer flavors and one coconut milk creamer variety. Since then, they’ve added two almond milk creamer flavors, a cashew milk creamer, and a line of oat milk creamer. Since they now have such a wide array, I’ve moved the coconut milk creamer to its own review page, and updated this post with all of the Natural Bliss Almond Milk Creamer options.
Natural Bliss Non-Dairy Creamers made with Almond Milk
Like the original Coffee-Mate creamers, the Natural Bliss Non-Dairy Creamers are thick and sweet. Because they contain all-natural ingredients, they do need a bit more of a shake before you pour. I’ve included flavor notes below for the varieties that we’ve tried, but don’t forget to leave your own rating and review below for the flavors you’ve tried!
Vanilla Almond Milk Creamer
The vanilla is a classic, versatile flavor that is nice to keep on hand. Besides being a mildly sweet addition to a hot cup of coffee, the vanilla is great for cooking. I can’t always find plain dairy-free creamer where I live, so I like knowing that this vanilla creamer is available. It’s nice to use as a substitute for cream or half and half in sweet baking applications–just omit the vanilla and some of the sugar from your recipe and you’re ready to go. My daughter uses the Vanilla Almond Milk Creamer in frosting recipes with great success.

Caramel Almond Milk Creamer
This flavor is by far the most dessert-like of the three we tried. It’s so much fun to have dairy-free caramel flavor to play with! Besides being a decadent coffee addition, this creamer made fantastic French toast. I used it in place of milk when making French toast with sourdough bread, and the result was worthy of a fancy restaurant (pictured below). We really liked the caramel flavor and sweetness contrasting with the tang of sourdough bread. I’m sure it would be a lovely addition to other recipes, too.

Are Natural Bliss Non-Dairy Creamers Really Dairy Free?
As we’ve shared previously, non-dairy creamers are notorious for actually containing some milk protein. But this isn’t always the case. Natural Bliss Non-Dairy Creamers by Coffee-Mate are made without any dairy-based ingredients. And according to Coffee-Mate, “We have validated the cleaning procedures so there is no dairy left on the line when we run these non-dairy creamers.”
But of course, always confirm that processes are safe for your dairy-free needs. And be advised that some of the creamers under the Natural Bliss label are dairy-based. Look for the “Almond Milk,” “Coconut Milk,” “Cashew Milk,” and “Oat Milk” creamers specifically.

What Others Are Saying ...
I bought natural bliss creamer
I ordered natural Bliss almond creamer online. The shopper got the vanilla creamer instead. I am surprised that I can drink it because I’m lactose intolerance.Taste good .
Looks curdled but tastes great
I bought the Toffee Caramel Almond creamer. I shook the bottle up, hard and long, as suggested. But the creamer still broke in my coffee. It had a clumpy milk look. It tastes great, but the look is off-putting.
no more protective tabs
it is concerning that last two Natural Bliss creamers have not had protective tabs on before opening. They used to. I will not purchase any more if this is new protocol. i love product but health concerns more important
Very rich and sweet
Each flavor was rich, but very sweet. Nonetheless, they did provide a nice hit of flavor in coffee and in recipes. The Caramel wowed in French Toast, but the Vanilla was the most versatile.

did the creamer break apart in your coffee? it looks really pretty gross and I’m hoping it’s ok. I just opened it and it tastes ok but it is all piecey…
Hi Linda, you need to shake it very well before using it, but even then this creamer will separate more than other store-bought creamers. I think that’s a good thing because it’s short on emulsifiers and stabilizers and is made with natural ingredients.
I’m sorry but this creamer is terrible, I tried the coconut and it’s thin and has a chemical taste to it.
Just horrible, I would never buy this brand again, waste of money.
I really like pea protein as a protein supplement but not in my coffee and
both Natural Bliss Almond and Silk have it …….

This is true! I’ll be happy to review the Hazelnut flavor when I can find it!
There is one flavor of the Natural Bliss Almond Milk Creamer you forgot to try, Hazelnut. It is called Natural Bliss Hazelnut Almond Milk Creamer.
I don’t think that one was available at Sarah’s local store.
