Natierra Dark Chocolate Covered Fruit is Organic and Freeze-Dried

0

Natierra produces amazingly pure freeze-dried fruits that I’ve used in recipes. But they also offer Natierra Dark Chocolate Covered Fruit, which is both snack- and dessert-worthy.

This is one of the very few dark chocolate covered fruit options on the market that is not only dairy-free and vegan, but also free of funky coating ingredients (like wax!). They use an organic and fair trade dark chocolate to coat their freeze-dried fruit. It makes for a unique, pure, more luxurious taste.

My pictures show their old branding, which was Nature’s All. They changed the name to their core brand, Natierra, but the product has stayed the same.

Tasting Notes for Natierra Dark Chocolate Covered Freeze-Dried Fruit

I loved the way the Bananas dissolved in my mouth. Plus how well the flavor melded with the perfectly sweet dark chocolate.

We didn’t sample the Mangoes, but the Strawberries were a little crispier and sharper in taste. I’m not a huge fan of chocolate-covered strawberries, but these were good. Tony didn’t love this dark chocolate covered fruit. He enjoyed the taste, but the experience reminded him of Whoppers, which he doesn’t love.

The freeze-dried bananas were my favorite for both flavor and the gentle dissolving middle, somewhat reminiscent of a fruitier, smoother, more grown-up Whopper experience.
