Oatly Oatgurt Stirs Things Up with Fruit-on-the-Bottom Vegan Yogurt

    0
By Alisa Fleming on September 7, 2020 Dairy-Free Yogurt Reviews, Product Reviews

We’ve seen the buzz for quite some time, but Oatly Oatgurt has finally landed in the U.S. and U.K. This oat-based yogurt alternative is described as “full fat,” which is interesting since oats are darn close to fat free to start with. However, it’s enriched to create a creamier finish. They say it’s thicker than European-style yogurt, but not quite as thick as Greek-style.

But what excites us most about Oatly Oatgurt is the fruit on the bottom. There aren’t many dairy-free fruit-on-the-bottom yogurts available, let alone ones that are top allergen-free and coconut-free. You can swirl that fruit goodness, give it a good mix, or layer on more goodies for a vegan parfait experience.

    Additional Allergen Notes*

Oatly shared the following allergen details for Oatly Oatgurt:

Our US products are certified gluten-free and made without tree nuts, peanuts, dairy, and egg. They are safe for people with allergies to the top eight allergens (milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, gluten and soy).

Some of our partner production facilities also process other products that contain these allergens. However, they are committed to careful cleaning and testing protocols to prevent cross-contamination. In cases where Oatly products may have been run on the same production line as other products containing top eight allergens, we also test our finished products to ensure that they are safe for people with top eight allergies.

The facility that packages our Oatgurt also packages products that contain coconut and cashews.
