This plant-based company is about more than savory cheese alternatives. They’ve also created a line of dairy-free desserts. OATzarella Cheesecakes are on the nutritious side, with an organic gluten-free oat filling and flaxseed crust. But they still promise vegan and allergy-friendly indulgence in two classic flavors.
OATzarella Cheesecakes take a Sweet Slice of the Allergen Free Market
We’ve seen several dairy-free cheesecakes come and go over the years, but none quite like this. According to OATzarella, their cheesecake formula was created by pastry chefs, and it uniquely uses from-scratch oat milk and extra-virgin olive oil. Once you buy and try either flavor (or both!), be sure to leave your own unbiased rating and review below.

Just No
I thawed it as the directions said. The top was still frozen. I microwaved it for 10 more seconds and it was still frozen. I tried to power through and it was absolutely not edible. It had no flavor and the texture was horrible. It breaks my little dairy free heart!!!
HORRIBLE!
It’s disgusting! I hate doing this cause I love supporting vegan brands but products like this is the reason why people say vegan food is nasty. The texture is bad and the taste even worse!
What did I just eat?
Save yourself the time and money and just buy the daiya cheesecake. This was disgusting at best and inedible at worst. I poured chocolate sauce on it, whipped cream and strawberries and it still didn’t fix how subpar the cheesecake is! I bought it for $5 and even for that price I felt ripped off. Gross & not at all like cheesecake
Awful. Stay away!
Long time vegan always looking to support vegan products. This cheesecake is just awful in every possible way. Is this a joke? Because everything about it, taste and texture is subpar.
Disappointingly bad
First of all, what was in the box didn’t look anything like the picture on the box. The taste was really gross. I know it’s possible to make good tasting vegan cheesecake because I’ve done it. Thank god I got this on clearance sale and only paid $1! What a disappointment.
Bad is too kind
4/4 people took one bite and grimaced. Absolutely horrible, enough to make my long term vegan child reconsider vaganism.
Not worth the price, tastes like water
I was so excited to get this cheesecake! I typically get the daiya cheesecake because it’s less than half the price, but I had my eye on the OATzarella for a special occasion. I thawed it out exactly like the instructions said and was very, VERY disappointed when I ate my first piece.
It tastes like someone took 10 syringes full of water and injected it all over inside a cheesecake. Not only that, the taste is extremely bland.
I never leave reviews on anything, literally. I’ve probably left 2 reviews in my entire life. I only do it when a product or service is awful and I need to warn others.
The price for this cheesecake is crazy and the taste/texture is even worse. Do not buy.
Never, ever again
Really scared that this is a product that is sold.
Disgusting
I’m so glad I wasn’t alone in this. I passed up my favorite Daiya key lime cheesecake to buy this stuff and it was SO disgusting. I can’t even describe it
..it was like eating bitter mashed up oats and the crust was awful
Worst vegan cheescake so far
I am somewhat of a vegan cheesecake fanatic. I use to love cheescake and my mom made one of the best. Then i went vegan. I am no longer vegan but am allergic to dairy. I have vegan cheescake whenever it is on the menu and i have tried every frozen option i can find. OatZarrella is by far the worst i have tried thus far. I followed the thawing instructions exactly and it was like there were ice crystals distributed thru the cake. I let it thaw in the fridge further and it was a mess. I puddle of water was on the pie plate and the crust was soggy. Besides that the flavor was horrible ( i had the original) it did not taste like anything.
