One Organic Food Bar (DISCONTINUED)

Organic Food Bar does still make their main line of bars, and the non-Protein ones are made without dairy. But they discontinued their One line. We haven’t sampled the other bars.

I must say that this new One Organic Food Bar has so much good stuff to offer, that I have added it to my top five list of go-to bars…

Seriously delicious is all I can say! I do enjoy bars (snack, energy, protein, etc.) … and I know I am not alone based upon the entire aisles dedicated on the go snacks.

These One Organic Food Bars are soy-free, and use only all natural, organic ingredients. Although, they’re a little high in sugar. Their sweetened with evaporated cane juice, rice syrup, and agave nectar. Combined with the fruit and juice you are looking at 15g of sugars for the whole bar. Not too bad, but something to keep in mind. Luckily, the oat goodness still shines through, for a virtuous energy-packed bar.

Tasting Notes for One Organic Food Bar

Sometimes options like Clif and Luna Bars are just too sweet, but sometimes raw versions like Larabars are underwhelming in flavor. Enter the One Organic Food Bar with its perfectly sweet taste that doesn’t overwhelm my taste buds, but that I would certainly classify as a treat. The flavor I sampled had a pleasant raspberry flavor that was definitely more sweet than tart.

The base of this bar is soft, pliable, chewy (but not a jaw workout), and just a touch sticky … but there are some granola crunchies in there to break up the monotony.
