Target, Aldi, and other major grocers have launched full lines of dairy-free ice cream. But Albertsons is the first U.S. store to tackle their own brand of vegan cashewmilk, almondmilk, coconut cream, and oat ice cream. Open Nature Oat Frozen Dessert has launched at Albertsons banner stores nationwide in three complementary flavors: Vanilla Caramel, Oatmeal Cookie, and Oatmeal Crumble.

Open Nature Oat Milk Vegan Ice Cream Launches in 3 Flavors

Although they’ve officially announced the release, Albertsons has yet to provide full details on Open Nature Oat Frozen Dessert. Fortunately, we found one of the flavors in store, and can provide details on that one. We’ll add information on the others as available. Vanilla Caramel

Ingredients: oat blend (water, oats), non-dairy caramel variegate (cane sugar, water, coconut oil, salt, cornstarch, pectin), cane sugar, coconut oil, tapioca syrup, dextrose, pea protein, natural vanilla flavor, stabilizer (guar gum, locust bean gum), salt. may contain: milk, egg, wheat, soy, peanut, tree nuts (almond, cashew, coconut, hazelnut, pecan, pistachio, walnut)

Nutrition (per 2/3 cup): 210 calories, 9g fat, 31g carbs, 0g fiber, 21g sugars (includes 15g added sugars), 1g protein.*

Oatmeal Cookie

Ingredients: oat blend (water, oats), tapioca syrup, cane sugar, coconut oil, oatmeal cookies (brown sugar, wheat flour, palm oil, rolled oats, water, non-gmo cornstarch, vanilla extract, salt, cinnamon), oatmeal base (cane sugar, water, natural flavors, non-gmo cornstarch, cinnamon powder, citric acid), dextrose, pea protein, guar gum, locust bean gum, salt. contains: wheat. may contain: milk, egg, soy, peanut, tree nuts (almond, cashew, coconut, hazelnut, pecan, pistachio, walnut)

Nutrition (per 2/3 cup): 230 calories, 10g fat, 33g carbs, 0g fiber, 21g sugars (includes 17g added sugars), 2g protein.*

Best dairy ice cream yet

The Blueberry Oatmeal Crumble was to die for and the Oatmeal Cookie flavor was a nice addition to an apple crisp I had made for a family get together. My son is severely allergic to dairy and peanuts and he was fine with both of these flavors and loved them! I would recommend this product.

Got and tried the vanilla carmel for the first time tonight. This is the first time I have seen it while browsing the ice cream aisle. I actually like it better than regular ice cream! It is creamy and full of flavor!
