Rawmio Organic Spreads: Nutty, Wholesome and Gourmet

My obsession with nut butters is taking me to the far reaches of nutritious and indulgent. And at both ends of the spectrum you will find Rawmio Organic Spreads. Handcrafted in the U.S., Rawmio Organic Spreads are simple, creamy, dairy-free blends of raw nuts or coconut followed by just a touch of coconut sugar and spiked with individualistic add-ins.

Tasting Notes for Rawmio Organic Spreads

Although the flavors have similar nutritional properties and ingredients, each variety was a distinctly different experience. Note that my pictures in this post show their old packaging (the new packaging is pictured above and with the product details), but the product inside is still the same.

Almond Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

This healthy creation doesn’t even compare to sugary, classic cookie dough. Rather, it occupies a category of its own as a wholesome, satisfying snack. It has rustic almond charm with warm hints of coconut sugar, vanilla bean and maca. It also has just the right amount of sweetness. Enough to satiate sugar cravings while still nourishing and providing lasting energy.

The generous smattering of raw chocolate chips in this thick, yet smooth almond butter, melt readily at room temperature. So I prefer it chilled and scooped as snacking balls rather than used as a spread.

This is the nut butter that I wish I could afford for everyday. Rustic yet perfectly smooth, creamy and extremely spreadable. It is perfect atop rice cakes and toast, as well as for dip for fruit and vegetables. Behind the “superfood” title is a nutritious blend of organic almond butter, chia seeds, hemp seeds, and goji berries. Together, they make for a nice earthy blend with contrasting hints of bitterness from the hemp, tempered by the generous little sweet berry bits. Look closely at the picture below, you can see the specks of red throughout!

Of all that we sampled, this was definitely the softest of the Rawmio Organic Spreads. It also packed in just a little more healthy goodness, including 70mg of naturally occurring calcium per serving.
