REBBL Protein Elixirs: Creamy Coconut Milk Beverages with Muscle

2

Last week, Sarah S. shared a very extensive review on REBBL Elixirs, and many of you asked about the protein-rich flavors. So this week she’s sharing tasting notes and details on REBBL Protein Elixirs.

I love that all of the REBBL Protein Elixirs have 12 to 16 grams of plant-based protein, but without any protein flavor, chalkiness, or grit. These creamy beverages also contain 3 super herbs (maca, reishi, and ashwagandha) in each bottle.

Tasting Notes for REBBL Protein Elixirs

Cold-Brew Coffee Protein

This is a very creamy cold brew that isn’t too sweet (my usual issue with coffee drinks). It’s perfect to enjoy after a morning workout, because it provides a recovery boost and energy to tackle the busy day ahead!

Ingredients – organic coconut milk (water, organic coconut crème), organic fair trade cold-brewed coffee, organic plant protein blend (pea protein, sunflower protein), organic coconut sugar, organic vanilla extract, organic reishi extract (2:1), pink salt, organic ashwagandha extract (10:1), organic maca extract (4:1), organic quillaja extract, organic stevia extract.

Dark Chocolate Protein

This flavor is so indulgent, like a creamy but not too sweet chocolate milkshake! If you need any motivation to workout, just thinking about sipping one of these afterward will do it! I love that it doesn’t have the least bit of chalky or powdery protein aftertaste.

Ingredients – organic coconut milk (water, organic coconut crème), organic plant protein blend (organic pea protein, organic sunflower protein, organic pumpkin protein), organic coconut sugar, organic cocoa powder, organic vanilla extract, pink salt, organic ashwagandha extract (10:1), organic maca extract (4:1), organic quillaja extract, organic reishi extract (70% B-glucan), organic stevia extract.

Vanilla Spice Protein

This flavor was love at first sip, but the only REBBL variety that my local Whole Foods doesn’t stock. It was worth seeking out though. I couldn’t exactly pin point what this simple blend reminded me of. I finally asked my husband and he said my homemade almond milk, but with a coconut flavor. Plus, unlike my homemade milk, it’s packed with protein and adaptogens. It’s so creamy and has a perfectly balanced flavor combination of vanilla and cinnamon. This one really hits the spot post workout and as an afternoon energizer.

Ingredients- organic coconut milk (water, organic coconut crème), organic plant protein blend (organic pea protein, organic sunflower protein, organic pumpkin protein), organic coconut sugar, organic cinnamon, organic vanilla extract, organic cardamom, organic ashwagandha extract (10:1), organic cinnamon extract, organic maca extract (4:1), organic quillaja extract, pink salt, organic reishi extract (70% B-glucan), organic stevia extract.
