Not for cereal
The first time I tried it (unsweetened), I poured it on my cereal like I do with h other non-dairy milks. I was surprised by the thickness and consistency, but went ahead and tried it. It’s not a good choice for cereal at all. Maybe good on it’s own or mixed in a smoothie.
Ample protein supplement
The Ultra is my preferred milk source because of the 20g of protein /serving. I am not surprised by the thick texture, but I don’t use it for cereals. I usually drink it straight or pour in coffee. It is a great nutrional source for my athletic training.
Great for bariatric surgery patients-filling, tasty and nutritious
This protein is absolutely delicious and doesn’t clump with heating. It’s good alone, mixed with sugar-free Chai tea latte concentrate or sugar-free chocolate syrup. I also use it as the protein in my green smoothies. It is my daily breakfast and many times something to have in the evening when hungry. I love it. I use the original. I will have to check Fred Meyer for it. I’ve only seen at Target so far. I just discovered it a short while ago. After I tried it, I went back and got 3 more cartons. I am on the last carton now and will get more after work, TODAY. Thanks so much for this amazing protein. I have seriously stopped using the protein powder that I once swore by. Silk Ultra has the calcium and other vitamins. My current protein powder is whey and at most, some flavors contain calcium. This is a perfect way for me to meet my daily protein requirements. Thanks
It's. Just.So.Thick.
PRO: The lack of cloyingly sweet ingredients. I am very sensitive to artificial sweeteners and hate the sickening sweet “natural sweetener s”. Silk Ultra is great when blended with ice.
Con: I CAN’T drink it straight. It is SO THICK. I do prefer it to any powders.
Good taste but Soy
I tried the chocolate. I usually drink the 3 Cashew protein varieties. I don’t want anymore soy in my diet so this is a “no” for me
Love love love. Best milk ever with low sugar carbs but lots of protein . What more can i ask for ..so happy.
Best non dairy milk ever. I love it more than anything I have ever tried. Simply the best of nutrition and protein that keeps less hungry and satisfied throughout the day.
Great!
I really love this milk because i suffer with trying to get enough protein in throughout the day. Im a runner and burn through calories fast and never get enough protien. Yes its thick but if u drink protein shakes you’ll be use to it. I add this to my oatmeal and it gives it a perfectly thick consistency and doesn’t taste weird and chalky like a protein powder mix might do, (which iv tried). Great for smoothies too! If u dont have time to cook chicken or a whole meal for protien this makes it easier.
Very thick and gross
My store was out of the regular Silk unsweet soy milk, so I got the ultra. For one thing, it has a much shorter fridge life than the regular. But the worst part is the texture and flavor. Yuck. Too thick, way too thick. The flavor is also bad. Never again.
Simplemente the Best
I workout 🏋🏽♀️ daily and I’m 46 so this ultra after used I don’t feel hungry for a long period of time and I feel that my stomach is pretty full sooo it’s Good specially for those that workout 🏋🏽♀️
Used with espresso drinks
I started to use it with my morning iced caramel macchiato I make with my new Breville barista pro espresso maker. Taste is very thick and the powdery texture kinda sucks but at least I can some protein in though!
