Simply Almond Milk goes Mainstream with 5 Ingredients or Less (DISCONTINUED)

    0
By Alisa Fleming on May 20, 2020 Discontinued Products, Product Reviews

Heads Up! Simply Almond Milk is being phased out, and will be discontinued in January 2023. For other almond milk options, see our Milk Alternative Reviews.

Coca Cola has finally entered the North American market of plant-based milk. Back in 2013, they purchased the UK brand Innocent, which makes juices, smoothies, and milk alternatives. But Simply Almond Milk is their first domestic dairy-free milk beverage, and it falls in line with the juice brand’s wholesome image. Each variety contains just 3 to 5 ingredients (4 to 6 if you count water) and is free of thickeners and emulsifiers.

Really upset that Simply Almond Milk is getting phased out!!! The other products are full of additives. It’s obvious the “CRAP” foods & drinks always WIN!!!

When I finally find a good almond milk without emulsifying or thickening and great in taste it’s discontinued. Can someone explain the reason for it to be discontinued? It’s saying on Google that it’s phased out but nothing else.

    Response from Go Dairy Free

Same story for many companies the past few years. Rising costs, supply chain problems, and distribution issues.

I have tried all the almond milks on the market and Simply Almond is definitely the best. It actually has ingredients that I can have without all the gum fillers and oils I cannot tolerate. Why is it so hard in this country to get healthy products; Europe seems to do it so why can’t the U.S.

Why would the best almond milk be taken off the shelf!? I’m so disappointed in this. Now I see why HEB was Selling them so cheap. This brand is by far the best and I haven’t been able to find another like it! Best flavor and taste! Please reconsider bringing this product back, I’m not alone in this vote.

Upset over the discontinuance of Simply brand Almond milks

    Rated 5 out of 5
    January 15, 2023

This brand of almond milks is above and beyond in superiority over every other brand I have tried and I have probably tried most of them over the years. I could only find it at Acme Stores and never saw it at Target.

I was told by two different Acme representatives that they couldn’t understand why it is being discontinued as it was a best seller. I think the public deserves to know why this decision was made. I, for one am sorely disappointed.

Cannot believe this has been discontinued. This was the perfect product and the perfect price point with minimal ingredients. It was too good to be true but it was amazing while it lasted. Please bring it back ASAP.
