So Delicious Cashewmilk Ice Cream Bars are Dipped in Satisfaction

    11
By Alisa Fleming on May 24, 2017 Dairy-Free Ice Cream Novelty Reviews, Product Reviews

Updated in 2021! If you’re looking for a true dessert, then you might want to put So Delicious Cashewmilk Ice Cream Bars on your shopping list. Compared to your average dairy sweets, they’re definitely not over the top, but they are a pure indulgence to quell rich, creamy, and sweet cravings.

So Delicious Dairy Free Cashewmilk Ice Cream Bars (Review) - Certified Vegan, Gluten-Free and Kosher Pareve

So Delicious Cashewmilk Ice Cream Bars are Dipped in Satisfaction

I’ve included some of our tasting notes below on the flavors we’ve tried (spoiler alert: we thought they were awesome), but please leave your own rating and review below once you try them.

    Dipped Salted Caramel

The dramatic image on the package depicts perfect caramel ribbons. You won’t visibly see these drizzles in the actual bars, but your taste buds will know they’re in there. Each treat has a thick, sweet, creamy, and perfectly salted caramel ice cream center enrobed in a generous layer of sweet dark chocolate. Now this is dairy-free bliss.

So Delicious Cashewmilk Ice Cream Bars are dairy-free decadence. Available in Dipped Double Chocolate and Dipped Salted CaramelIngredients: non-dairy frozen dessert (cashewmilk [filtered water, cashews], cane sugar, organic coconut oil, caramel sauce [organic tapioca syrup, water, pea protein, organic molasses, natural flavor, organic cocoa butter, sodium citrate, salt, pectin], organic tapioca syrup, pea protein, sea salt, locust bean gum, guar gum, caramel syrup, natural flavor), chocolate coating (cane sugar, coconut oil, chocolate liquor, organic sunflower oil, cocoa [processed with alkali], cocoa butter). contains: cashew, coconut.

Nutrition (per 2-ounce bar): 180 calories, 13g fat, 17g carbs, <1g fiber, 13g sugars (includes 12g added sugars), 1g protein.*

    Peanut Butter Fudge

This flavor is new in 2021, so we haven’t tried it yet. But we are dying to!

So Delicious Cashewmilk Ice Cream Bars are dairy-free decadence. Available in Dipped Double Chocolate and Dipped Peanut Butter FudgeIngredients: cashewmilk (filtered water, cashews), cane sugar, organic coconut oil, peanuts, cocoa powder (processed with alkali), organic cocoa butter, organic sunflower oil, pea protein, sunflower lecithin, sea salt, locust bean gum, guar gum, natural flavor. contains: cashew, peanut, coconut.

Nutrition (per 2-ounce bar): 200 calories, 15g fat, 15g carbs, <1g fiber, 12g sugars (includes 12g added sugars), 2g protein.*

    Double Chocolate Delight

The creamy chocolate ice cream filling presents sweet caramel notes dancing with a mellow cocoa powder. I expected fudgsicle, but this is creamier, softer, and slightly more “grown-up” in flavor. Nonetheless, the thick semi-sweet chocolate coating ensures that chocoholics of all ages will be satisfied.

So Delicious Cashewmilk Ice Cream Bars are dairy-free decadence. Available in Dipped Double Chocolate and Dipped ChocolateIngredients: non dairy frozen dessert (cashewmilk [filtered water, cashews], sugar, organic coconut oil, cocoa [processed with alkali], pea protein, sea salt, locust bean gum, guar gum, natural flavor), chocolate coating (cane sugar, coconut oil, chocolate liquor, organic sunflower oil, cocoa [processed with alkali], cocoa butter). contains: cashew, coconut.

Nutrition (per 2-ounce bar): 170 calories, 13g fat, 16g carbs, 1g fiber, 13g sugars (includes 13g added sugars), 1g protein.*

My rating isn’t based on nutritional merit – these chocolate-covered ice cream bars are dessert, through and through. But the execution is flawless with a thick, crispy, semi-sweet chocolate coating over an indulgent filling of creamy, melt-in-your-mouth ice cream. In our home, the super-sweet Salted Caramel was the hands down winner, but the Double Chocolate Delight is tops for conquering cacao cravings.

Awwww, we don’t have these in UK yet. Fortunately we do have Swedish Glace Strawberry ice creams, coated with chocolate in a similar style. It’s not the same though. So Delicious is just the best! Can’t wait to try these next time I’m in the US.

    6. Kim B. on June 1, 2017 7:52 am

I’ve only recently discovered cashew milk ice cream, and it’s now my favorite dairy free option. It’s super rich and creamy without the aftertaste I’ve found coconut milk options have.

That said, I bought the So Delicious salted caramel bars last week to share with my daughter and ended up finishing off the box before she even got to try them. (There’s only 3 per box though, so I’m not a total glutton.)
They were just that good! (Lucky for both of us, I bought TWO boxes this week. lol)

Haha, glad you liked them Kim and glad you bought more for your daughter, too! I totally know what you mean though – addicting!!
