Sweet Loren’s Less Sugar Cookie Dough is Free of Funny Business

By Alisa Fleming on July 11, 2022 Dairy-Free Cookie Dough Reviews, Product Reviews

When I see “low sugar” labels on packaged products, my eyes quickly move on. Don’t get me wrong. I do try to limit my sugar intake, but my taste buds and my stomach aren’t fans of alternative sweeteners. So I was excited by the launch of Sweet Loren’s Less Sugar Cookie Dough. It’s really their classic cookie dough (which is still available) made with 40% less sugar added. There are no substitutes and no sugar-free sweeteners. They’ve simply slashed the sugar for those who are happy with cookies that are a little less sweet.

Sweet Loren's Less Sugar Cookie Dough Reviews and Info - Free of Gluten, Dairy, Eggs, Nuts, Soy, and Alternate Sweeteners! Also naturally vegan.

As mentioned, this new line is free of alternative sweeteners. But like all other Sweet Loren’s products, the lower sugar cookie dough is made without dairy, eggs, gluten, peanuts, tree nuts, and soy. And it’s launching in two staple varieties.

Searched reviews because I wasnt sure if it was my new oven or the less sugar cookies. From the reviews it sounds like the cookies, super bummed. The cookies crumble apart and are super dry. Will definitely go back to buying the regular sugar ones

The 40% less sugar version doesn’t allow the cookie to bind and has a sandpaper texture.

The new “Less Sugar” recipe is good for store bought, buy-and-bake GFree cookies. The less sugar recipe has a gritty feel to it that the originals do not. Overall, good but not great
