Unfortunately, Vega Protein Cashewmilk Yogurt Alternative was discontinued in November 2019. See our Dairy-Free Yogurt Reviews section for brands currently available. Some brands that do contain a notable amount of protein include: Nancy’s Oatmilk Yogurt, Forager Plant-Based Protein Yogurt, Siggi’s Plant-Based Yogurt, Silk Soymilk Yogurt, and Activia Almondmilk Yogurt.
Like dairy yogurt, Vega Protein Cashewmilk Yogurt Alternative is traditionally made via fermentation, pasteurization, and incubation with live and active cultures. They even attempt to mimic the macronutrients by combining creamy cashewmilk with pea protein for the yogurt base. In fact, each single-serve has more protein than sugar!
Vega Protein Cashewmilk Yogurt Alternative is Tops in Plant-Based Protein
Despite the lower sugars, and complete lack of refined sugar, this yogurt alternative is quite sweet. And it does have a notable “pea protein” consistency. But tell us what you think of it by leaving your review and rating below!

Why is it so sweet??
I was excited when I saw only 7 grams of sugar, and I think they should have stopped there. The added stevia made it sickly sweet to me, my stomach was upset. I don’t think that most health-conscious people want a ton of sweetener in their food or need it to taste super sweet. I only tried the raspberry.
Disgusting
i NEVER throw food away but these deserve it. Somehow the vanilla tastes like crappy chocolate, has the consistency of water and a wierd burning sensation when you swallow it. Yum.
Just OK
I find them to be watery and they have a very chalky texture which I don’t care for.
No-Gurt
I’m sort for my bluntness but I flat out hated these. The texture is watery and gritty, and you can definitely taste the beany notes of the pea protein. There’s a strange, syrupy sweetness going on in the background, too.
Not bad, but too sweet for my liking.
The texture is better than a lot of dairy free yogurts. I just found the blueberry to be too sweet. Adding it to a smoothie worked just fine.
