Follow Your Heart Dairy Free Cream Cheese is now Soy-Free, Too

0

When I wasn’t looking, Follow Your Heart changed the name and formula of their cream cheese alternative. It went from Vegan Gourmet Cream Cheese Dairy Alternative, made with soy, to Follow Your Heart Dairy Free Cream Cheese, made soy-free.

When we tried it several years ago, it had a positively beautiful consistency. It was soft, creamy and very spreadable, similar to a tub or even whipped cream cheese. It melted into warm toasted bagels, almost like butter, but with a little thickness remaining. But we weren’t as wowed by the flavor, which was a little too strong on the soy side. I can’t say how Follow Your Heart Dairy Free Cream Cheese is after the reformulation, but welcome you to leave your own rating and review below once you’ve tried it!

What Others Are Saying ...

Smooth spreadable consistency

3.0 rating
February 19, 2019

Though some may not see 3 stars as stellar, in our book it means “good” and that’s exactly what this product is. It has a dreamy, spreadable consistency that’s darn near perfectly smooth. The taste is just a little lemon juice-forward with a dip rather than cultured flavor. It held its own atop our gluten-free bagels and could be a fit for certain bold recipes. I expect mixed reviews with a “love” from some and an “off-putting” from others, but at this respectable price, it’s worth trying to see which group your tastes fall into!
