Just a few of years ago, a small team of entrepreneurs in Greece launched a modest line of dairy-free cheese alternatives. Now, they are distributing worldwide and working on innovative varieties. Violife Vegan Feta Cheese is one of their latest creations, and an ode to the company’s roots. It’s sold in a block, and made for crumbling atop salads and pastas.

More Allergen Notes
Regarding dairy ingredients, please note that we do share lines in some parts of the production process. However, we clean our equipment VERY meticulously, with multiple allergen swab testings to confirm absence of cross-contamination with dairy. Furthermore, production samples are sent to an accredited lab for allergen analysis. Our results are consistently negative for the presence of any dairy allergens.
Please note though that testing for absence of any dairy allergen is conducted as mentioned via multiple swab testing with a 0.4ppm* sensitivity after the weekend full cleaning. Once negative results are achieved our vegan production can commence Monday morning. We must stress that a negative result at 0.4ppm means that there is no dairy allergens present in concentration above that point.*PPM = part per million, or less than 0.4 mg allergen in 1 Kg of product, or less than 0.01 mg in 20gr (1 slice) of product. 1mg = One thousandth of a gram.
As stated, the aforementioned allergens are not detectable by our testing; we guarantee that there are no allergens above our testing thresholds. We have never had an issue and we export globally.

so good!
Really closer to creamy goat cheese- however it is delicious! One of the closest cheese flavors I have tried- it’s really good!!
We normally eat regular cheese
I bought this bc my daughter is nursing and was told to cut out dairy. I had extremely low expectations to be honest. (Full disclosure, I’ve never tasted vegan cheese before.) Could I tell the difference in a blind taste test? Yes, this has a much creamier texture. BUT. I was sincerely blown away by how closely this mimics the real thing!! 5 stars and my sincere respect for this product!
First time...loved it!
First of all, I won’t make the mistake of directly comparing a plant based food to an animal based food. They may be similar, but they’ll never be the same.
What people are used to is traditional Greek sheep’s milk feta. It is salty, tangy (a gamier flavor if it’s goat’s milk feta). Violife has more similarity to French feta which is a little less tangy, creamier with a slight gaminess…really delicious! I love that it’s in a “brine” like traditional feta as well.
It doesn’t crumble but it can be cut into small chunks or spread when warmed. Put it on slightly cooled cooked items rather than steaming hot as the coconut oil in it gives it a lower melting point.
Overall I was very pleased with the taste and texture! 10/10 will finish this entire brick in three days and will buy again!
So so good!
This cheese is so so good! It’s more of a chevre than a feta in my opinion, but super good on salads!
kinda there
i do enjoy the taste even though it’s not spot on to me if compared to “proper” feta cheese, it does recall the taste quite a bit but i feel like the dairy equivalent is way more salty (not a big deal, you can always season to taste) and “stinging” on the taste side plus the consistency is a little too creamy and not as crumbly as feta cheese is. but defo a valid product and one of the best to vegan cheeses i’ve tried
Awful goat flavour great texture
Great texture but it’s too goaty. Can you make one without the goat flavour. More like sheeps milk feta?
Best non dairy feta
More like a block of cream cheese than real feta. But can crumble and not sour. So so good! As is all of the Violife cheeses
so good!
The first vegan cheese I love. Great macros too!
One of the best non diary cheeses we've had
We absolutely love this on a beet salad. So yummy!
Loved it!
I’m really, really picky about vegan cheese and this was great. I’ve used it in salads, on top of vegan pizza, on baked potatoes/sweet potatoes and haven’t been disappointed at all.
