Wander Life Coconut Creamer: A Vegan & Paleo Powdered Option (DISCONTINUED)

    8
By Leah Moldowan on April 20, 2017 Discontinued Products, Product Reviews

Unfortunately, Wander Life Coconut Creamer is no longer available, and the company seems to have gone out of business. For options that are currently available, see our Dairy-Free Creamer Reviews.

A powdered convenience that you can toss in your bag, Wander Life Coconut Creamer is not only travel-friendly, it’s also vegan and paleo!

The ingredients of Wander Life Coconut Creamer are simple, organic, and sustainable. It’s perfect for on the go or just for a rich cup of coffee or tea at home. When blended with the coffee, it creates a lush latte feel. It’s currently available in both unsweetened and sweetened varieties of three flavors: Original, Vanilla Bean, and Cacao.

Tasting Notes for Wander Life Coconut Creamer

Typically, I’m a black coffee kind of gal, but I was excited to give these a try. Especially after Kat, the founder, let me know blending was the secret for optimal frothiness. For each flavor, I added the tablespoon serving to my cup of joe to ensure I was getting the full experience.

Wander Life Coconut Creamer is available in 3 flavors - all dairy-free, gluten-free, vegan, and paleo.

    Vanilla Bean

Anything vanilla bean has me excited, so naturally I dove into this one first. After an embarrassingly long struggle to get the little bag open, the sweet coconut vanilla scent hit me. I scooped a tablespoon into my freshly brewed coffee and gave it a good stir. The powder isn’t as fine as I expected, but it still mixed in seamlessly to create a milky brew. I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t overly sweet, just very lightly sweetened. It had a hint of coconut taste, but at first I wasn’t able to detect any vanilla hints. Although, after trying the Original and comparing the two, I noticed that the Vanilla Bean does have a touch of a sweet vanilla flavor. It was creamy and gave the coffee some oomph that I really enjoyed.

I think this flavor of Wander Life Coconut Creamer would make for a delicious creamy cup of earl grey or chai tea!

    Original

Per Wander Life’s suggestion, when I trialled this flavor I gave it a quick whiz in the blender. It turned into a beautifully frothy and luscious cup of coffee. I’d highly recommend enjoying Wander Life Coconut Creamer this way! The flavor was very mild and even less sweet than the Vanilla Bean. It just gave it a nice latte feel.

    Cacao

I saved this sweet treat for the afternoon when I needed a little boost. I swirled a tablespoon into my coffee and eagerly took a sip. I’m not sure I would have been able to detect any cacao if I didn’t know the flavor in advance. But it did give it a richness and some intriguing sweet notes.

I think a sprinkle of this on top of hot oats would be a nice touch. It also makes an amazing chocolate sauce. I combined 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon of coconut sugar, 1 teaspoon Cacao Wander Life Coconut Creamer, and just enough hot water to make it a pourable consistency. It was rich, creamy, and so luscious!

    Convenient powdered creamer

    Rated 4 out of 5
    February 24, 2019

This convenient powdered creamer is amazingly vegan and paleo. It melts well into coffee for a creamy effect and when blended creates a dreamy frothy latte. Personally, I thought the flavors could use a little oomph. All tasted very similar and I would love more chocolate depth from the Cacao variety. But overall, it is an enjoyable product that is great to have on hand for coffee, tea, or as an addition to recipes.

These creamers sound intriguing! I can’t wait to try them all in my coffee! Great idea to sprinkle the cacao on top of hot oats! I’ll have to try that too!

I have never tried powdered creamer but I am loving the idea of it for travel or when a refrigerator is not handy! I will be looking for this next time I’m at the store!

Could you plese list the ingredients for these products? Thank you.

I appreciate your request, but if the ingredients are available on the company’s website, then we don’t list them. And these posts always include a direct link to the company’s website in the facts at bottom. Ingredients are subject to change at anytime, and it’s important that people reference the company and actual packaging, not our website, to confirm if the ingredients fit for them. Unfortunately, it just isn’t possible for us to keep ingredient lists up to date here for every product that we list or review.
