It’s hard not to love the adorable dinosaur shapes of Wellshire Kids Gluten-Free Chicken Nuggets.
We counted three different varieties: Torontosaurus Rex, Brontosaurus, and Stegosaurus. My childhood Flinstones education has finally paid off. Whatever creatures they realistically hale from, these chicken nuggets are cute, gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, and our whole crew agreed, darn tasty.
Tender, perfectly juicy, and packed with flavor, Wellshire Kids Gluten-Free Chicken Nuggets are of the pressed variety. But that doesn’t seem to take away from their appeal and all-natural ingredients. They have a light corn-based coating that is just hefty enough. A few bites had a touch of spiciness, but nothing over the top for timid taste buds. Our teen tester called them “really yummy”. Tony just kept repeating “meaty” as he made his way through an entire plate of bites.
Everyone loved them, but we wanted more in each package. Six nuggets per serving seemed like an ideal amount to us, so a package of 18 would be perfect for our needs. As is, we only got about 2.5 servings from the bag. I believe they listed the serving size as 3 or 4 nuggets. This would only be enough for very little appetites, but they are admittedly labeled as “Kids” bites.
Like all Wellshire Farms products, the Kids Gluten-Free Chicken Nuggets are antibiotic- and hormone-free.

I would have tried and purchased them this week since Whole Foods featured them in their coupon book. However they didn’t plan ahead and have them in stock!
Oh no, I hate it when that happens!
