Special Diet Notes & Options: Coffee Icing
By ingredients, this recipe is dairy-free / non-dairy, egg-free, gluten-free, peanut-free, soy-free, tree nut-free, vegan, and vegetarian. For strict vegans, be sure to seek out organic powdered cane sugar.
- 1½ cups icing sugar
- ½ teaspoon instant coffee
- 5 tablespoons So Delicious Almond Plus Protein Almond Milk or Coconut Milk Beverage, or additional as needed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl. If the icing is too thick, add more milk beverage as needed, 1 teaspoon at a time, until it is thin enough to drizzle.
- If needed, pour the icing through a sieve to catch any lumps.
- Immediately drizzle on your recipe, it will set up slightly as it cools.
