Instant Chocolate Quinoa MIlk (Vegan, Gluten-Free, Nut-Free, Soy Free)


Quinoa is high in fiber, and well known as a balanced plant protein that provides 8 essential amino acids plus albumin.  Thanks to the creation of Quick Quinoa Powder, this nutritious pseudo-grain can take on many tasty forms, including as a milk alternative.  But why stop with plain flavored “milk,” lets make it chocolate!  This drink can be whipped up in mere minutes, and even transformed into a smoothie texture with the addition of some extra ice.

Chocolate Quinoa Milk


In a food processor or blender add:

  • 2 heaping Tbsp. Quick Quinoa Powder, Extra-Fine
  • 1 c. boiling water

Blend until smooth and let rest for 2 minutes.  Add:

  • 1 heaping Tbsp. of your favorite powdered Cocoa
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 6 ice cubes

Blend until smooth.  Sweeten to taste with Stevia or sugar.

Quick Quinoa Chocolate ‘Milk’ can be made ahead and stores well in the refrigerator – stir well before drinking. Quick Quinoa Chocolate ‘Milk’ is best when it’s icy cold just like regular Chocolate Milk!
