    Pink Cadillac All Fruit Smoothie

    7
By Alisa Fleming on April 17, 2017 Beverages, Breakfast, Dairy-Free Recipes

This all fruit smoothie recipe was originally shared with us years ago from the book Becoming Raw: The Essential Guide to Raw Vegan Diets. I stumbled across it again recently and simply had to whip it up. It takes just minutes and tastes like a fresh sip from a smoothie bar. But unlike most of those pricey drinks, this one doesn’t have any added sugars!

Ingredient Notes: Pink Cadillac All Fruit Smoothie

When a recipe contains very few ingredients, the quality of those ingredients counts. Here are my personal tips for creating the best all fruit smoothie.

Orange Juice – Nothing compares to the taste of fresh-squeezed, and pure orange juice has natural bone health benefits! But if squeezing oranges doesn’t fit in your schedule, you can use store-bought orange juice. However, I recommend purchasing “not from concentrate” juice. If desired, you can pick an orange juice that is fortified with calcium.

Mango – Not all mangoes are created alike! Some are very fibrous and can result in disappointing smoothies. Be sure to pick a variety with no fibers, like Honey Mangoes. The Mango Board has a great guide to mangoes that I reference on occasion.

Strawberries – Sweet strawberries will make a huge difference in this all fruit smoothie recipe. If your strawberries aren’t quite at their peak, add 1 to 2 drops of pure stevia extract to brighten the flavors.

Hi Alisa, great post (as always!) Just thought I’d let you know I tweaked this slightly as I’m not a huge strawberry fan. So I only used mango and orange juice and it was still amazing! Perfect on a sunny day and it’s starting to warm up here in the UK. Thanks again!
