One Degree released a Sprouted Oat Granola line with 4 different flavours: Cinnamon Flax, Vanilla Chia, Quinoa Cacao, and Honey Hemp. They’re all organic, non-GMO, and made from sprouted grains. The ingredients are really simple and wholesome and they’re much lower in sugar than most granola brands on the market.
Not only does One Degree make incredible products (their Cacao Brown Rice Crisps are the best ever), they also have an amazing brand philosophy and vision. They’re all about transparency, sustainability, and the consumer. One of my favourite things about them is the ability to track where the ingredients in your cereal or flour came from! It’s such a unique concept and it’s really fun to see where the ingredients came from and even see the farmer who harvested them.
Tasting Notes for One Degree Organic Sprouted Oat Granola
I didn’t get the chance to try the Hemp variety, but did sample the other three flavors.
Cinnamon Flax Sprouted Oat Granola
I really loved this one especially paired with raisins for the classic cinnamon raisin combo. It’s not overpoweringly cinnamon-y, but it’s just the right amount making it a comforting flavour. My only critique was that it didn’t have as many clusters as I would like in my granola. It still had the essential crunch factor. My favourite way to eat this flavour in particular was on top of a warm bowl of oats.
Vanilla Chia Sprouted Oat Granola
Vanilla is one of my favourite flavours for anything – I find it is easily overpowering or underwhelming, but when done well it’s such a lovely flavour profile. Sadly, the vanilla flavour of this granola was a little underwhelming. I still enjoyed it a lot, but it lacked the sweet vanilla flavour I was looking forward to. I enjoyed this one more for its crunch than its flavour.
Quinoa Cacao Sprouted Oat Granola
This one would have to be my favourite because it’s chocolate. Other than the chocolate factor, I loved this one because it had big granola clusters, which made it extra crunchy. The chocolate flavour was on the subtle side, but definitely still there. I didn’t really notice the quinoa in it, but I loved the idea of it having the extra health benefits and protein from the quinoa.
Best Ways To Enjoy this Granola
There are so many ways to enjoy granola beyond the simple bowl with almond milk. One of my favourite ways to enjoy this sprouted oat granola is stuffed in a date then dipped in almond butter. The granola is such a nice crunch factor to the classic sweet treat of dates dipped in nut butter.
Granola is also a perfect addition to a smoothie bowl or banana ice cream, giving it a nice crunch and making it more filling. Have you ever tried baking with granola? It’s a game-changer, it makes a simple and delicious streusel for muffins or coffee cake. Some days I just eat it straight from the bag. Whichever way you decide to is a great way to eat it!

I tried the Vanilla flavor and found it was lacking in flavor but after reading your review will have to try the chocolate one!
I absolutely love quality granola…so much so I can’t hardly have it in the house! What do you mean a bag isn’t a serving?!
Haha, I’m the same way Amanda! When it comes to granola, I had to start measuring just to make sure I was eating less than 3 servings in one sitting!
