Coconut Cloud was the first dairy-free powdered creamer to land on the market back in 2016. I did a full review at that time, but their products have changed so much since then. They’ve added Vanilla and Salted Caramel flavors, they’ve also added MCT oil to all of their formulas (for potential health benefits), and they came out with single-serve sticks and pantry canister sizes. And of course, they’ve redesigned their packaging a few times.
Coconut Cloud Powdered Creamer in Single-Serve Packets and Pantry Sizes
Though “coconut” is present all over the packaging, and is indeed the first ingredient, we didn’t think this creamer had a very pronounced coconut taste. But it definitely has an underlying coconut influence. If you are an extreme coconut hater, then I would move on. On the contrary, if you simply love the taste of coconut in everything, know that this creamer aims for a more neutral flavor. When tasted straight, it does have a clean, pleasant sweetness and light coconut taste. But in tea or coffee, it’s very mild.
Coconut Cloud Dairy-Free Powdered Creamer has an amazingly fine, powdery texture that makes straight coconut milk powder look downright chunky. After a brief stir in hot tea or coffee, it melts right in and adds a gentle creamy influence. And unlike refrigerated creamers, it doesn’t cool your nice hot brew. I’ve added my own tasting notes in our ratings and reviews below – you can add your own review too!
As mentioned Coconut Cloud Dairy-Free Powdered Creamer comes in three sizes and packaging types. I’ve included an image of each packaging type below, so you know what they look like.

Coconut Cloud Dairy-Free Powdered Creamer Uses, Beyond Beverages
Dairy-free powdered creamer may be a boon for travel and work, but I think it could also perform beautifully in recipes. I recommend giving it a try in oatmeal (or packets on the go!) in bread machine recipes, and anywhere that powdered milk may be called for. Just be sure the light sweetness is suitable to what your making.
According to the Coconut Cloud website, you can also reconstitute their powdered creamer for a speedy coconut milk. You can mix 3 tablespoons of Coconut Cloud Dairy-Free Creamer with 8 ounces of water to produce 1 cup of light coconut milk. Increase the creamer amount to 1/4 cup for full-fat coconut milk.

Enjoy Coffee with Creamer while Reading Go Dairy Free!
Very tasty, healthy non dairy creamer.
It tastes good, a very light coconut flavor, but some people might not pick that up. I happen to like coconut very much. However, wish it lightened the coffee or tea a bit more. Love the convenience of no refrigeration, can easily take with you as you travel. It is a little expensive but a healthy alternative to other powders.
Great to have on hand
The MCT version separates a little more in my hot tea than their original formula without did, but it might be a worthwhile trade off for the health benefits. The flavor was the same as I remembered, lightly sweet and not overtly coconut (though I could detect hints of coconut). The consistency is lightly creamy with a full-bodied mouth feel. The one caveat is a little does settle at the bottom. Skip that last sip!

What a great idea! This sounds like a product I should try.
Wow, I always thought I wasn’t a powdered creamer kind of girl, but this certainly has changed my mind! This looks amazing and would be an awesome product to try with my morning cup of coffee!
Such a great review! Can’t wait to try this dairy-free creamer!
This product sounds super handy – and tasty!
I really value your posts- they are so insightful for my dairy free clients! I like the versatility of this product too, interesting you can make milk with it!
Thank you! Yes, since it does have a touch of coconut sugar in it, it is a touch sweeter than regular coconut milk, but I think since a little sweetener is added to most recipes using coconut milk (often even curries and such), it could still be an easy fit!
