I realized our review of Enjoy Life Chocolate Bars post needed a big update when I used their Ricemilk bars to make some more delicious, allergy-friendly DIY Candy Bars. Their chocolate has become a staple in our home because they have a delicious variety for every craving, event, and season.
Enjoy Life Chocolate Bars Satisfy Every Allergy-Friendly Occasion
I’ve included some notes on each variety, and should note that I’ve also successfully used these bars in baking. They’re single-serve in size – unlike many of the big 3-ounce bars on the market – and they break into four sizable segments. Leave your own thoughts in the ratings and reviews below!
Ricemilk Chocolate
I have sampled most of the dairy-free “milk” chocolates on the U.S. market, and each one has its merits. Some are quite sweet, hitting on cravings for white chocolate, while others are rich with cocoa buttery goodness. But Enjoy Life Ricemilk Chocolate Bars strike a balance of sweet, but not overly sugary, and quite creamy.
Ingredients: cane sugar, cocoa butter, unsweetened chocolate, dried rice syrup, salt.*
Nutrition (per 1.12-ounce bar): 170 calories, 11g fat, 19g carbs, 1g fiber, 15g sugars (includes 15g added sugars), 1g protein.*
Ricemilk Crunch
For a little extra interest, these Enjoy Life Chocolate Bars have a Nestle Crunch vibe, but they’re a bit thicker and have more chocolaty goodness and a smidgen less crunch.
Ingredients: cane sugar, cocoa butter, unsweetened chocolate, rice crisps (rice flour, rice bran, raisin juice concentrate, honey, salt), dried rice syrup, salt.*
Nutrition (per 1.12-ounce bar): 170 calories, 10g fat, 19g carbs, 1g fiber, 14g sugars (includes 14g added sugars), 1g protein.*
Dark Chocolate
These are just a wee bit darker than your average semi-sweet chocolate. They have a rich cocoa taste that isn’t the least bit chalky. I think this blend has a sweetness that seems delightful for young taste buds (including my own on those heavy sugar-craving days!). But it’s also just dark enough to please dark chocolate-loving “grown-up” chocoholics.
Ingredients: unsweetened chocolate, cane sugar, cocoa butter.*
Nutrition (per 1.12-ounce bar): 170 calories, 10g fat, 19g carbs, 1g fiber, 14g sugars (includes 14g added sugars), 1g protein.*
Seasonal Minis
For every major holiday, Enjoy Life Chocolate Bars are packaged into bags of minis with cute designs. This includes Easter, Holiday / Christmas, Halloween, and often Valentine’s Day.
More Allergen Notes*
According to the company, all Enjoy Life products are free–from wheat, peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, soy, egg, sesame, casein, sulfites, lupin, mustard, fish, shellfish & crustaceans. But they use an outside facility for their baking chocolate. Here are some further details from Enjoy Life.

Our baking chocolate is produced in a facility that also processes dairy and soy, however, they are produced on a dedicated dairy-free and soy-free line. Fantastic!
I just tried my first of their products, in this case, the Dark Chocolate, and it’s WONDERUL! EPIC chocolate flavor, with great dark chocolate consistency, and with perfectly balanced sweetness! Well done!
One of my Go To Treats
The ricemilk chocolate bars are quite tasty! They remind me a lot of classic candy bars, like Nestle Crunch. But I’ve become rather addicted to the Enjoy Life dark chocolate bars. They’re quite smooth and creamy and have just the right sweetness to satisfy without being sugary.
LOVE!
I tried the chocolate bars tonight from Enjoy Life . . . the dairy free rice milk with crispy rice bar specifically, and it was AWESOME!

Can you lose weight if you eat these? I crave chocolate but don’t want to gain weight in the process.
Hi Jackie, I really can’t advise you on weight issues, and don’t know of any non-supplement foods that actually help you lose weight. You might want to consult a dietitian to help you set your goals and a dietary plan.
I’ve never seen these at the store – I’ll have to keep an eye out!
Yes, you will 🙂
I love these bars, especially the crunch one! Enjoy Life nailing it every time 🙂
Our favorite dairy-free chocolate bars! They’re the easiest for us to find at most stores, too.
I’ve noticed they’re pretty easy to find, too!
