Updated February 2023! Have you heard? Panago Pizza offers an expansive vegan menu! Several years ago, this popular Canadian pizza chain recognized the growing demand for dairy-free options. So they added dairy-free cheese to their menu, reformulated some of their crusts, and even added a whole selection of plant-based pizzas to their regular menu.
Panago Pizza Dairy-Free Menu Guide with Vegan & Gluten-Free Options
This menu guide includes dairy-free pizzas first, followed by custom order components. Then we have the other menu items and components after that. Be aware of special order requirements in parentheses () next to the menu items, and see the Heads Up notes to help fill in the blanks.
Other Allergen & Dietary Notes: All of the items listed below are also made without egg, gluten, nuts, and soy, unless otherwise noted. Their gluten-free crust is called “gluten smart,” because gluten cross-contamination is a risk at Panago Pizza. But as “smart” Go Dairy Free readers know, allergen cross-contamination is always a possibility in restaurant kitchens. For vegan options, see the Vegan Menu Guide at the bottom of this post.

Great options
All their vegan options are good but the plant based cheesy bread is out of this world!
Ordered off the plant-based menu
I was excited to try their plant-based menu, so we ordered a few pizzas. And I couldn’t resist getting side salads with their dairy-free Italian dressing. My favorite pizza was probably the Pepperoni with pineapple and banana peppers. The flavor and texture reminded me so much of what I remember pepperoni pizza tasting like that it was impossible to resist. The other toppings contrasted for amazing sweet and spicy flavors and the crust was soft. One of the pizzas we ordered was on the gluten-free crust. It was good too, with a thin, crispy texture that held up well under a pile of veggie toppings. Our household included vegans and omnivores, and everyone liked the meat-free pepperoni. The Daiya cheese got mixed reviews. We all agreed it would be best with just a “light” amount of Daiya. And I have to mention the salads. They were bright green and topped with loads of delicious vegetables. Even the vinaigrette impressed.

That’s great. I love pizza and daya cheese. I definitely need a vegan pizza soon 🙂
You and me both Sina. Now I’ve got cravings for one!
I will have to find a Panago for our next pizza night. I’ve never tried them before but I’ve definitely been missing out with all the vegan and gluten free goodness!
Definitely! I hope you enjoy it Rebecca!
Your gorgeous photos are making me wish I had some Panago Pizza right now! Love that they’ve added vegan-friendly options!
Right? It’s so awesome!! I honestly can’t believe how many options there are, too.
Love when these pizza places offer the dairy free alternatives! Although to be honest, Daiya is not my favorite, and that’s always what the ones here have. I wish we could get the Miyoko Mozz in there!! Most of the time, I just go cheeseless and load up the toppings. Hot banana peppers are my favorite!!
I think they use Daiya because it’s nut-free, too. Pizza places are often a “safe” restaurant for those with nut allergies, so they may not want to introduce nuts into the environment.
These pizzas look incredible! I wish we had this pizza shop in the US!
Me too Becky! Canada has it going on!
I wish we had a Panago Pizza near me! I hope they expand to the US.
I’ll make sure they hear all of our wishes! For now, we’ll all just have to visit the great north!
Love my pizza! Craving one with banana peppers right now and heck maybe even all the toppings like a “garbage” pizza. Dang I have to wait 3 days to get my pizza fit. Adding Panago to my list though.
Haha! You are the pizza queen Sarah. I’d never thought to put banana peppers on a pizza, but now it sounds like a must!
I love that pizza places are offering more healthy and allergy friendly options. Those pizzas look amazing, looks like real cheese!
Seriously, you can actually build a healthy pizza there!
I love it when restaurants get it! Panago clearly goes above and beyond to fulfill the customer’s dietary needs. I’d choose a bbq chicken pizza with onions on the gluten-smart crust! YUM!
Yep! They’re even using Daiya for nut-free & soy-free – they definitely get it!
I so wish there were more vegan pizza options around here because I LOVE pizza!!! especially the additional option to make it gluten free too!
I hear ya Amanda. We’re lacking in my area, too. I can’t wait for my next visit to the in-laws in BC – we’ll definitely be hitting up Panago!
I love banana peppers on pizza! And, more importantly, all the awesome vegan options available now for everyone to enjoy a classic pizza pie!
Right? I’m pretty excited by how big that menu is!
That would be fantastic! Wish I had one near me!
Definitely worth going to on a trip to Canada Rebecca! They’re everywhere up there!
