When HumanCo bought out Coconut Bliss, they discontinued the Everyday Bliss Ice Cream line. But the classic Coconut Bliss line lives on, and is now known as Cosmic Bliss Plant-Based Ice Cream.
Coconut Bliss is carefully nudging their way into new product territory with the launch of Everyday Bliss Ice Cream. This all-inclusive name allows them to venture away from coconut, but they haven’t done it just yet. Everyday Bliss is still coconut based, organic, vegan, gluten-free, non-GMO and adorned with all of the certifications. But it boasts very decadent flavors and is a touch lighter in fat, calories, and price. Kim Gibson Clark, the President and CEO of Coconut Bliss, shared the following.
We want to make the best ice cream for everyone, this just happens to be plant-based. Everyday Bliss was carefully created at a price point and with flavor profiles fitting for the needs of the larger population, and is a solution to everyday dietary needs and restrictions. Fans will be happy to know that our new Everyday Bliss line boasts the same level of indulgence, taste and quality standards Coconut Bliss is already known for.
How do they do it? It looks like they’ve swapped organic cane sugar for the agave nectar in their blissful ice cream base to reduce the cost. The classic Coconut Bliss flavors also contain coconut cream for more richness and fat, but this ingredient is omitted in the Everyday Bliss line. This reduces the overall calories and fat, and presumably lowers the cost, too.

More Allergen Notes
Like most dairy-free ice cream brands, Coconut Bliss products are made in facilities that also process frozen desserts containing dairy, eggs, wheat, soy, peanuts and tree nuts. But they do follow stringent allergen protocols. Here’s a little insight from the company.
We take the issues of cross-contamination very seriously and we do everything within our power to ensure that our products are free of undeclared allergens. Our allergen control policies are based on these important processes: daily sanitation, scheduling, testing, and training.
Coconut Bliss production days are restricted to only our products. No dairy or egg ingredients are allowed in the production room on Coconut Bliss days. The mix-making equipment is in a separate room, so we test for the presence of milk proteins in every batch of mix processed. If milk proteins were ever to show up in the test results, we would dispose of that batch of mix and stop the mix-making process until the equipment has been thoroughly washed and tested again.
