This rapidly growing American restaurant chain actually started in Clarksville, Indiana. But today, there are Texas Roadhouse locations in 49 U.S. states, including Texas (sorry Hawaii!). Their selection is a bit dairy heavy, but there are still some great dairy-free choices on the menu and with our custom order guidance. Plus, they are well known for great service toward special diet guests, often accommodating food allergies, gluten-free needs, and even vegan requests.
Texas Roadhouse Dairy-Free Menu Guide with Allergen Notes & Vegan Options
This menu guide includes dairy-free menu options first, followed by custom order components. Be aware of special order requirements in parentheses () next to the menu items, and see the Heads Up notes to help fill in the blanks. Texas Roadhouse does state their menu is “global,” so the following should be suitable for U.S. and international locations. But always verify your order meets your dietary needs. There can be differences in locations.
Other Allergen & Dietary Notes: All of the dairy-free menu items are also made without egg, peanut, tree nuts, and wheat, unless otherwise noted. Texas Roadhouse does offer a “gluten friendly” menu for gluten-free guests. Most of their main menu is listed as containing soy due to the prevalence of soy oil in their kitchens. For vegan options, see the Vegan Menu Guide at the bottom of this post.
Fryer & Grill Note: As with any kitchen, potential cross-contamination with allergens is always a risk. They do not specifically note shared fryers or a shared grill, but we assume they do use shared equipment with items that contain milk. Always alert the staff if you need allergen precautions.
