Savorfull is an Online Store for Free-From Snack Foods

    1
By Alisa Fleming on September 12, 2012 Food and Grocery, Online Food Retailers

Savorfull started as a sample box company, but they’ve evolved into an online store for allergy-friendly snacks. They sell healthy, non-perishable food and beverage in bulk quantities. The products include drinks, candy, cereal, chips, chocolate, cookies, crackers, bars, jerky, nuts, seeds, popcorn, puffs, spreads, and more.

Savorful Monthly Product Sample Boxes - Gluten-Free and Dairy-Free Food

The reason they sell bulk quantities is to offer discounts to sports teams and other organizations that need a larger quantity of safe snack foods. But they also sell to individuals who want a contact-free Costco replacement!

All of the products that Savorfull carries are approved for their nutritional value and free-from ingredients. They source foods that are FREE-FROM:

    • Artificial dyes
    • Artificial colors
    • High fructose corn syrup
    • Trans fats
    • Artificial sweeteners

They also provide thousands of products that are nutritionist approved with options that are FREE-FROM any or all of the following:

    • Coconut
    • Corn
    • Dairy
    • Egg
    • Gluten
    • GMO’s
    • Peanuts
    • Sesame
    • Shellfish
    • Soy
    • Tree Nuts
    • Wheat

They do source some products that contain dairy, but most are dairy-free. Just use caution with their labeling. They use what looks like an OU kosher pareve label to indicate certified kosher products, even if they contain dairy and are actually kosher dairy. Be sure to read the ingredients.

A lot of online shops sell snack foods, but it is nice that Savorfull locates some unique brands that aren’t commonly found in stores. When we looked, we saw offbeat brands like Field Trip (chickpea butters), Matzo Project (matzo chips), Why Bars (homemade-style bars), and Cooper Street (granola cookie bakes). And Savorfull carries every variety and brand from these companies. So you don’t have to hunt around for the flavor your looking for.

As a side note, the founder of Savorfull, Stacy Goldberg, also provides virtual or onsite nutrition consulting for businesses, organizations and sports teams nationwide.
