Dairy-Free Challenge Meet the Gluten-Free Challenge. Share Your Menu Ideas!

Gluten-Free ChallengePamela's Products has teamed up with the Gluten Intolerance Group (GIG) to challenge everyone to live gluten-free for one weekend. If you already live gluten-free, we encourage you to invite your friends and loved ones to join you on the weekend of May 22 & 23.

Here's how it works. Sign-up and take the pledge to live gluten-free for one weekend at www.GoGFchallenge.com (it is free to sign up). For the month prior to the Challenge, you'll receive a Recipe of the Day and Tip of the Day to help make living gluten-free easier than ever. I have heard rumor that there will be giveaways too!

Why is Go Dairy Free joining in on this challenge? Following a special diet can feel very isolating, and give the impression that you might miss out. Nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, from our own experiences, many new food tastes and textures emerge when we become less reliant on a single food. But the beginning is the hardest. Coming up with menu ideas when you are new to a diet can seem near impossible. Reading labels seems like you are caught on repeat with “Can’t eat that.” So to make a dent, we are going to compile several two day menu options for that weekend that are gluten-free AND dairy-free. Yes, we want to accomodate those of you who are already dairy-free or who would like to try the Dairy-Free Challenge too!

We have some of our own ideas, but want to hear your favorites too! Do you have some snacks, desserts, main dishes, drinks, or otherwise that are both dairy-free and gluten-free that you would like to share? These may be packaged, recipes, or simply ideas. Let us know! To reach us with your ideas, email us directly, give a note on our Facebook Fan Page, or give us a tweet using "@GoDairyFree GFCF Menu Idea” in the tweet.
