When the draft was finalized, several reviewers said, “Wow, this really is a full book, are you sure you don’t want to charge money for it?!” But to me, that wouldn’t be in the spirit of why this ebook was created. My goal is to share healthy, family-friendly whole food recipes with as many people as possible.
Just two weeks ago I set out on a mission: to spread the word about healthy and delicious whole foods for breakfasts and school lunches. When I laid eyes on the “Back to School” ad from my local grocer (a grocer that is actually ahead of the curve in natural food offerings), I was appalled by the complete lack of real food in the entire four-page advertisement. Lunch-able kits, sugary cereals, fake “fruit” snacks, processed pizza pockets … the sad part was, it reminded me of my own youth; a time of upset stomachs and exhaustion. When I discovered cooking, baking, and grocery shopping for fresh produce, my world turned upside down. I performed better in sports and in school, I had more energy, and I actually loved the food.
But I know we are all short on time, short on ideas, and often confused by conflicting health claims. So rather than tell you to eat more whole foods, I wanted to offer some real-world solutions for you and your family … recipes!
This FREE e-book is a collection of 125 recipes and over 100 full-color photos from well-respected healthy bloggers and cookbook authors. Dozens of them in fact – the response to this project was tremendous! Keep in mind that a few of the recipes and ideas contributed were not 100% dairy-free, BUT I personally included "safe" dairy-free options for all of those recipes to make the entire cookbook (every recipe) dairy-free friendly. It's just what I do!
