Nearly a decade ago, Blue Bunny timidly entered the dairy-free market with an almond milk ice cream line. They didn’t get lucky with that product trial, but have finally decided to jump back in with some new vegan frozen desserts. Blue Bunny Non Dairy Mini Bars and Swirls are chocolate novelties created to mimic two favorites in their dairy line.
Thanks to Big Box Vegan and Kayla Nichole for sharing this news and some of the information below.
Blue Bunny Non Dairy Line Launches with Mini Bars and Swirls

Amazing Non-Dairy
I found these today and couldn’t wait to try them because I love ice cream but it doesn’t love me. If you are lactose intolerant, you need to run not walk and get you some of these. The taste was just like eating a regular ice cream cone.
Sugar Substitues
The bars have 5 sugar substitutes; inulin, isomalt, sorbitol, stevia leaf extract (reb. a), & stevia leaf extract (reb m). It also has 3 sugars; sugar, corn syrup, & dextrose.
With the cones it’s not as bad with the sugar substitutes with just inulin. This also has 3 sugars; sugar, corn syrup, & dextrose.
Either be sugar free or sugar, this on the fence stuff cuts out a bunch of people who can’t eat the products. So many of us with food allergies & intolerance have GI issues & can’t eat these sugar substitutes due to the fact they cause gas, bloating, & other GI upset.
I Can be Kid Again
Finally a novelty non dairy ice cream. I felt like I could be a kid again. I used to see all the Blue Bunny ice cream in the freezer section that I could not have and wondered why big companies ignore lactose intolerance. think I’ll be a loyal customer for a long time now.
Just like I remember
The cones are delicious! They even have the chocolate in the bottom.
Be forewarned of non-dairy
Accidentally bought the nondairy version of these bars, and it has a totally different taste and aftertaste than the ones that look the same but don’t have nondairy on them
HARD to believe these are Vegan!!!
The Vanilla Sandwiches tastes EXACTLY what I remember Dairy Ice Cream sandwiches tasting like! They’re creamy deliciousness!
Tastes like real ice cream
These cones are delicious! Was able to find them locally.
4 Flavors total!
They come in vanilla cones and vanilla sandwiches too! I hope they sell them in Arizona!!
